Amazing hotel in Downtown
CesanH (Philippines) on May 12, 2026
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and I’m so glad I booked this hotel! We arrived early, around 1 PM, and they allowed us to check in at that time, even though the official check-in time is 3 PM. The receptionist at the counter was very accommodating. We loved our room on the 19th floor—it had a stunning view! My kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool because the water was warm, and they also had a hot tub and sauna. The room itself was perfect; the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. Although the breakfast wasn’t a buffet, it was still very good. We felt so welcome, as most of the staff were Filipino, which added a warm, familiar touch to our stay. I requested a late check-out due to the snow that day, and they kindly accommodated our request. I must say, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends, and we can’t wait to come back. We had an amazing stay!
Highly disappointing experience with an unexpected $500 charge.

We stayed at this hotel while traveling for our child’s sports tournament. Several other families from our city were also staying at the same hotel. Prior to our arrival, we were informed that there would be complimentary storage for equipment, which seemed like a great convenience for teams. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the “storage area” was actually located in the parkade. Equipment bags had to be stacked on top of one another, and there was no option for gear to dry out. Even more concerning, the fenced enclosure could easily be accessed by climbing over the top, making it neither secure nor practical. Given these conditions, we chose to keep our child’s equipment in our room. After returning home, we were shocked to find an unexpected $500 charge on our credit card. This charge was never mentioned at check-in, check-out, or at any point during our stay. When we contacted the hotel, we were told the fee was for “deep cleaning” due to a policy prohibiting sports equipment in guest rooms, a policy that was never disclosed in any booking information or communication. To make matters worse, the hotel charges only $100 for guests traveling with pets for any duration of stay, yet somehow justifies $500 for a piece of sports equipment. That comparison alone shows how unreasonable this fee is. If, as a conservative estimate, 20 rooms (families from our group) were charged the same $500 fee, that’s an additional $10,000 the hotel collected after the fact. This feels like an outright money grab and an extremely disappointing way to treat guests. After this experience, we will never stay at a Delta hotel again, and we will be advising others about this as well.
Downtown property but doesn’t feel like it

Stayed in this property a couple of nights while on business. Although it’s in the downtown area, it’s a bit outside the busy nightlife and daily office traffic. That makes it perfect for a more quiet stay. The hotel is modern and has a great layout. The restaurant/bar is quite nice. Rooms are comfortable and have all you need. Kudos for the modern and functional bathroom. Overall excellent stay and a good choice for my next trip.
Central downtown Calgary hotel close to nice walks along the riverside.

Nice central hotel for a one night stay in Calgary prior to collecting an RV for our Canadian Adventure. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the only drawback was that the walls were not soundproof and we could literally hear the baby crying in the next room as if it was in with us. Also my husband was bothered by road noise and sirens outside all night. There’s a nice bar and restaurant downstairs where we did eat in the evening, we ventured out looking for a nice restaurant as the hotel is in the heart of Chinatown but we were sadly disappointed. We had a nice walk though and the riverside is lovely. The hotel’s restaurant was good though and the food very nice. We had breakfast the next morning too and were pleasantly surprised as it really was the best breakfast we had the entire time we were in Canada. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent Downtown Calgary Hotel

Stayed one night on our roadtrip in September 2025. I used a Titanium free night certificate plus one of my Elite night upgrade credits and we checked into our suite on the 25th floor. Staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. The lobby was busy upon our arrival but we got checked in right away. Getting to the hotel was pretty good, we arrived northbound on Deerfoot and then took the Memorial exit and switched to 4th ave SE when the road parted. Delta is basically right along 4th, just be in the left lane to enter. After checkin we self parked underground , took elevator to lobby, then elevators to 25th floor. Room was amazing, huge with a view of the river valley to the north. Bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Bathroom was very large with a huge rainfall shower. After dropping our stuff in room, we went down to the 24th floor to "the Pantry" which is Deltas club lounge equivalent. Selection of snacks and drinks was actually very good, especially from my experience at less expensive Delta properties we've been to. We took some drinks and snacks back to the room. We headed about for dinner at Klein/Harris, about a 10 minute walk, highly recommend. Excellent meal, best of our 10 day trip. Overall the Delta Calgary downtown is a very nice property that I would have no problem staying at again in the future
