We stayed for 3 days during the stampede. The hotel staff were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful during our stay. The food was very good. The rooms were clean and tidy. The facilities including gym and pool was excellent. The location was a short walk to the main strip and also to the river and park. Only around 25 minutes to the airport (with traffic).

Good location, room and facilities as you would expect from a Marriott Hotel. We incurred significant issues when departing. Our stay was prepaid as the first part of a two week tour of the Rockies. After we paid for incidentals my bank account was debit 5 separate pending deductions for over 900 dollars. To be clear, theses are unauthorised deductions. I complained and asked why theses deductions had been made and to remove all pending deductions immediately. 10 days on I still do not have an understanding of why this happened and I have still 500 dollars of pending deductions on n my bank account. Terrible customer service from the Marriott Delta Calgary.

Complimentary upgrade to a junior suite was a nice surprise for my one night stay. There is a coffee shop in the lobby as well as a bar/restaurant. Bar service was slow and I waited about 10 minutes at the bar before someone saw me sitting there and came over to take an order. I forgot my toothbrush and the front desk had one available for me. Nice location in downtown Calgary only a few blocks from the bus stop.

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit the lounge at Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary Downtown and we were not disappointed. After we arrived, we were promptly greeted and seated at a location of our choice by a young man named Hatim. Hatim took the time to explain the food and drink menus, explain the happy hour specials, and deliver samples of a beer we were interested in trying. Hatim engaged us in meaningful conversation while attending to our orders of tap beer, as well as a delicious flat bread and warm olive appetizers. We were more than satisfied. While there, we were also greeted by Hatim’s supervisor, Rohit, insuring that we were satisfied. Rohit spent several moments with us creating a welcoming atmosphere. We were made to feel more than just patrons and that we were appreciated for visiting this great lounge with a great vibe. Check it out…you won’t be disappointed!

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and I’m so glad I booked this hotel! We arrived early, around 1 PM, and they allowed us to check in at that time, even though the official check-in time is 3 PM. The receptionist at the counter was very accommodating. We loved our room on the 19th floor—it had a stunning view! My kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool because the water was warm, and they also had a hot tub and sauna. The room itself was perfect; the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. Although the breakfast wasn’t a buffet, it was still very good. We felt so welcome, as most of the staff were Filipino, which added a warm, familiar touch to our stay. I requested a late check-out due to the snow that day, and they kindly accommodated our request. I must say, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends, and we can’t wait to come back. We had an amazing stay!
