Excellent service and amenities, at a great location by the river and close to town. Housekeeping was neat, front desk friendly and extremely helpful. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking in the morning (photo attached).

Great hotel. Very clean. Staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is located in a great place in Canmore within walking distance to pretty much anywhere within in the town. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful, with stunning mountain surroundings and excellent facilities, which makes this even more disappointing. We paid extra for a mountain-view room, yet were never informed that construction work was taking place directly in front of it. Instead of enjoying the peaceful scenery we had paid for, our balcony was filled with constant banging, drilling, and the smell of bitumen. The construction started at 9:00 am and continued until around 9:20 pm every day, making it impossible to relax. It also completely ruined the pool and hot tub experience, as the work was taking place right beside them. What I find most unacceptable is that the hotel failed to tell guests about this before arrival. Had we been informed, we could have decided whether to stay elsewhere or at least not pay extra for a mountain-view room that we couldn't enjoy. The lack of transparency was extremely disappointing and fell well below the level of service we expected, especially for the price we paid.

The Malcolm Hotel is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is phenomenal, the location is amazing, and it is one of the most breathtaking places you could possibly imagine. Every detail is thawed out and it is well worth every penny. Meals were phenomenal staff was delightful, and the amenities are well worth every penny. It made going to Canmore and Banff so great! Highly recommended.

An absolutely lovely hotel. Rooms are extremely comfy with lovely linens, comfy beds. The towels are the softest/fluffiest I’ve ever had! The view from our room was truly stunning ( over looking the mountains) . There is a lovely bar/ restaurant with a super terrace. All the staff were amazingly friendly / helpful. There was a turn down service each night which was a nice surprise. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day. The hotel is easily the nicest on Canmore. It’s a few minutes stroll to the town. There is a beautiful boardwalk along the river too.
