I LOVE this resort!

I've been to this resort multiple times over the years, during that times it has changed names at least 3 times. Now, it's a Hilton property. Each time I've stayed, the experience has exceeded my expectations. Sunscape Cancun is a good value and a nice resort for families. The main factor is the staff. The lobby staff is friendly and helpful as are the waitstaff and housekeeping. The property is well maintained. Our room faced the lagoon (not a problem) and had a particularly small deck. I would have liked a larger deck and a view facing the ocean, but my husband booked the trip through Expedia, he probably booked the cheapest room he could find. Because he booked through Expedia, I didn't feel it would be appropriate to ask for a different room. Even with an exceptionally small deck, the room was nice and well maintained. I enjoyed the pool activities and activities/entertainment staff. I did miss Latin music at the pool though. The thing that sets Sunscape apart for me is the people, well, and the food too. We usually ate at one of the buffet restaurants. There was a huge variety of food including fresh fruit and Mexican dishes. We aren't big drinkers but did enjoy wine with dinner and an occasional mixed drink. Wait staff that were particularly memorable are: Antonio, Norberto, Maximillian, Jorge, Romeo, Heder, Santiago and, Jose Over the years, we've stayed at a number of different resorts in the Cancun hotel zone. They've all been nice, most of them were more expensive than Sunscape Cancun. For me, the best value and most welcoming atmosphere is the Sunscape Cancun. I plan on returning next year.

We visited this resort March 1 week. I liked location and access to beach area. I am vegetarian (no onion, no garlic) diet and my wife is vegan. We didn't find lots of option for my meals. We are non-alcoholic and find all inclusive was waist for me. Overall, Chefs and staff were very helpful to make our requested food items. But, they are not familiar with Indian cousin and items and how to make. We didn't find dessert and pastry without egg. Overall, it was not bad experience.
