Antonio (buffet), Daniel (grill at sunset), Pedro (activities director?) were absolute standouts and truly made our trip a special one. Some of the kindest and most professional people we’ve ever encountered. All were wonderful staff who provided excellent service and remembered our names and treated us like special guests

The resort was beautiful and clean. The staff were amazing, they go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. We checked in with Ceasar at the front desk and he was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Kiko brought our bags to the room and the door had a "Welcome" banner hanging from it. We walked in and there was a happy birthday dessert waiting for me bc we were celebrating my birthday this trip. The room was clean and we enjoyed the space. Our room was located by the Spa and Daniel always greeted us hello and was so friendly! We went to the spa and had outdoor couples massages which were SO relaxing and also enjoyed time in the hot tub. We did a variety of excursions which were fun one booked through the hotel. We did not enjoy the food at Azul. However, Ventanas, The Italian Restaurant, and Casa de Rosa were fantastic. There are no reservations at this resort but we only had a 10 minute wait for dinner. Breakfast at Ventanas was so delicious with tons of options that we never tried breakfast any where else. We had great servers and want to shout out Filaberto (Italian), Josh (Case de Rosa) and the Sommelier for their wonderful inviting service. The beach was fantastic and we loved swimming in the waves. The Pool is nice, however i wish it was bigger or there was more than one pool for adults. It is very difficult to get a seat at the pool. People claim the chairs at like 7am and even if they are not at the pool, all the chairs are taken. We opted to get a Cabana for $90 the day we wanted to lay by the pool and it was relaxing. The poolside server Daniel was very attentive, nice and a great server. He changed out the ice in our water cooler, brought all our drinks and was overall a delight. The lunch options include tacos, burgers, nachos, and hotdogs. All were great. I ate so many tacos lol! The entertainment - they have a lot of day time entertainment for kids. We really enjoyed the entertainment staff at the pool and all the games they offer. I love that they have yoga!! The night time shows seemed like they were good, we loved the magician. However, the next show was located at the bar and there was not enough room to see. We tried to get a good view but the other guests were so rude so we left. A lot of rude guests at this resort which obviously the staff cant control... like yall are on vacation why are you acting this way. The staff was wonderful, views outstanding, resort was clean. They can transfer money to pesos for you, though i saw a lot of guests tipping in USD. Lastly, my biggest complaint - they charge extra for ALOT of things. This is only my second all inclusive so im not sure if that is normal but i found it annoying. All Cabana - extra. Various packages that are more expensive. Hot tub use - extra. Room service - extra. Wine tasting - extra. Tequila tasting - extra. Pineapple or coconut drinks - extra. We did a tequila tasting, nicer dinner option, spa, hottub, and cabana and it cost almost $700 extra. I'd rather pay more per night and actually have almost everything included.
