Sunscape Cancun is absolutely the best resort in the Hotel Zone. There food is top notch with an endless supply of fresh beautiful food, great Mexican choices and great international food. We LOVED that they changed their policy to include 3 year olds in the Kids Club and our children had a blast on the waterslides, pool, kids club, and kids entertainment. If you are a family look no further this resort is the perfect resort for families with kids. We loved the restaurants and I loved you could visit any restaurant without a reservation. The resort had lots of staff and there were not wait times for drinks or food. The whole resort was immaculately clean. The staff made the entertainment fun and we felt at home the whole time. This resort has incredible value for the cost. We have come twice to this resort because we can't find a better one!

Edgar was the best at the Italian restaurant. Great service and a sweetheart. Can’t go wrong. Splurging on steak and lobster isn’t a bad idea either.

This is my second time at this resort. First time under Sunscape (Hyatt). The reason for our return was the beautiful well kept beach, amenities but most importantly the service. The service is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and do what they can to make your stay very enjoyable. Some of the staff members that went above and beyond were: Ventana’s restaurant- Idelfonso, Lucia, Miguel, Fabian, Octavio, Giovanni, Heder and Santi Beach - Fernando and Gerardo Reception - Angel & Cesar Entertainment- Sandy Cafe Mexica- Hernandez The only challenge we encountered were limitations around food availability due to allergies ( wheat, gluten, legumes, dairy, shellfish). Some we could work around by sticking to a buffet, some not so much, but we are grateful to the Ventana staff who took the time to understand, and ultimately organize and prepare options ( in one instance our waiter made dessert, we were provided fresh baked muffins, french toast and steamed veggies ) for us, when there might be none, this was so much appreciated!. Other restaurants tried their best, but it ended up being lacking in taste. But we also found that the questions around allergies are posted but a little less emphasized this year over last year. Hoping this can be adjusted. Again, I’d go back for the staff, amenities, activities, cleanliness, beauty of the beach, location on the strip, but would need to think on the food challenges.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating and fun. We felt we were treated like special guests. Especially the entertainment staff. the resort may be small but they made it fun and exciting. They gave 100% all the time. The food was great. So much choices. Even my picky teenagers were well fed. My favorite was the Mahi -mahi that was the fish of the day in Viaggio. The empanadas at the Sunset grill. The Grilled Octopus from the Mexican Restaurant. And of course the ice cream from the Candy Shoppe and the 24 hour coffee shop.
