So much fun!!!

We have had the most fun trip to Cancun! This is the perfect spot for families because there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our 6 year old daughter loved the water slides and swimming in the pool with friends she made. The Beach Bunch (kids club) is THE BEST. Such a fun spot for kids to make bracelets, sing karaoke, do crafts, and so many other activities. Jamie and Mary are so sweet and fun, actually the whole Beach Bunch team made this trip easier for us because it gave my husband and i a chance to relax a bit and not worry about our daughter! Ary, Arany, Andy, Gian, Sam, and Dash are sooooo nice - they interacted with the kids and did crafts with them, helped with their "mini Olympics" and provided supervision while we sat by the pool and had a couple drinks in the sun. Our favorite pool waiter, Freddie, would bring our favorite drinks at the perfect moment. Food was fantastic, we especially loved hibachi at the Asian restaurant. We couldn't get the app to work for making restaurant reservations, but were able to make them at the desk in the lobby area. The rooms are super comfy, and that water is so blue! Oh and make sure you go to the evening parties. The glow party and Wonderland party were both a BLAST! We will definitely be back!

Find Irving at the enclave bar.

Hotel was great. Food was excellent, especially by all inclusive standards. The Enclave bar has phenomenal cocktails too. Ask for Irving at the Enclave bar. He is the man! If you have enclave access go find Irving. Super friendly, great drinks…all around awesome vibe thanks to Irving.

Loud music every night until 11 PM!

This resort is advertised for families, put blasts music the in the center of the resort every night until 11 PM! If we were traveling as a couple, I wouldn't mind it as much. But when your children go to sleep at 8 PM, this is very inconvenient. Luckily I always travel with sound machines. The hotel has to find somewhere else to hold the night time events that is less disruptive to sleeping guests. Here are some other pros/cons listed below. Pro: 1) Room was beautiful. We had the family room with murphy beds and it was the perfect size for our family of 6. 2) House keeping was excellent and kept the room very clean, even with my children destroying it daily. Make sure to tip them. 3) Buffet food and restaurant food was great. 4/5 stars. Our favorite food was the Steakhouse and favorite view was the Italian restaurant. 4) Unlimited coffee and ice cream at the lobby shop was great. We went there multiple times a day. 5) Kids club was great. My kids loved it, which allowed mom and dad a break. Con: 1) Loud music until 11 PM every night make it impossible for my kids to sleep. Tired kids = angry mom. 2) Restaurant reservations are a mess. They only open 24 hours in advance, which means you have to go to the concierge daily to try to get a reservation. I do not want to deal with this on vacation. We could never get a reservation for hibachi, which was disappointing to my kids. 3) The scenic 'hot tubs' looking out at the water are not hot. I'm not sure why these are not heated, but it was very disappointing, especially in November. Advise: We did not stay in the Enclave section. If I ever went back, I would pay to upgrade. The Enclave rooms are beachfront, which would have reduced the noise from the nightly parties. I believe they also have a concierge to help with restaurant reservations.

Feeling hot hot hot

My husband (Diamond) and I stayed here for two nights and I would not recommend this to any Hilton honors member. Upon check in our status was not acknowledged - no big deal but typically higher status = more benefits and this was not the case at this resort. There is an enclave members option that has a bar with premium alcohol, reserved beach chairs and a separate pool (typically as a diamond you are included in these lounges/premium bars and we were not). Incredibly disappointing given the loyalty diamond members show to the brand. Beach service was terrible - one server for at least 40+ chairs - furthermore not all drinks the resort had to offer were served at the beach. They also did not offer water bottles at the beach (unless you purchased a cabana) which I found odd considering water bottles were provided in the lobby bar and your hotel room. Instead, they offered an igloo cooler with pour your own water style service. Think little league soccer practice style. For all my air conditioning people - this hotel is not it. Our room was so hot fluctuating between 70 snd 75 - never getting to the set temperature and the gym air conditioning was broken as well making it 77 degrees (25 Celsius). The food was good but be aware reservations are required for all restaurants - reservations were very hard to get and filled up extremely fast due to the size of the resort. In the morning the breakfast buffet had a line and wait time - it was absolutely chaotic and way too crowded. This hotel is very very crowded with not enough space, restaurants or beach chairs to accommodate the travelers. I’ve stayed at countless other hiltons and have yet to find one that can barely accommodate the amount of guests it has the capacity for. If you are a rewards member, air conditioning connoisseur or beach goer like myself I advise you to stay clear of this resort.

Girls trip!

Girls trip! We had an amazing time. So many good things. Just gorgeous. Staff were also helpful and informative. We really felt like family by the end of our trip. Alex in the buffet area was especially helpful. Andres made sure we tried new things and our glasses were always full! Jarlin started us off with a nice introduction of the resort as our guide. Will return with my kids. Felt very safe and taken care of.
