Julio at the pool was simply incredible. Checked on me and my friends constantly and brought us what we asked for immediately. one of the most friendly workers i’ve ever met. truly a great human being.

Atelier was an absolutely amazing experience! From arrival, staff is so attentive and friendly. We had such a great experience talking with staff and even other guests. Everything is clean & accounted for and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Especially the pastries & deserts. Would 100% come back :) Some shout outs: Hector at the bar, Julio (server at the pool), and all El Mercado breakfast staff!! Truly exceptional—never saw a frown, all smiles, jokes, and a warm atmosphere!
Adults Only???? Nope

NOT AN ADULTS ONLY RESORT!!!! Although it markets itself as adults only their cutoff for “adult” is 16. Resort was crowded with teenagers and definitely NOT what you would expect for a high end adults only resort. Now for the positive. The food was amazing, the rooms are great and the service is excellent. But if you want an actual adults only resort DO NOT BOOK ATELIER!
Best for those looking for a lively vacation, not for peace and quiet

Overall we had a great holiday. The food was fantastic in all the restaurants although Mercado 19 was disappointing at dinner. The service throughout our stay was also amazing. The only thing that prevented us from giving this 5* was the pool area. The sunbeds are so close together and almost always full. We were surprised given the size of the resort that more space was not given to the pool area to allow a bit more room. The music at the pool area was also so loud all day. We were looking for a relaxing getaway and loud house/dance music isn’t relaxing for us. There is a relaxing pool but that had very few umbrellas and was always full when we visited. Again, given the number of rooms, maybe there needs to be more space allocated for this. We managed to relax on the beach which was lovely but generally speaking we’re more ‘pool people’ and the music would make me question whether to return. I feel bad for those who had rooms overlooking the pool area and I certainly wouldn’t have been happy with one there if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s a lovely resort but I think it’s tailored more towards groups looking for a lively vacation and less so for those wanting peace and relaxation.
