Hello, I want to give a really good note to this resort. Being a regular client of club med and been to dreams resorts ect I think I can give an honest review. I’m used to certain standards.. Catalonia playa maroma was exquisite and a very nice surprise. From arrival to departure we were very pleased. Our favourite aspects are the hotel grounds , it’s very lush in nature with animals ect.’the atmosphere is very enjoyable and relaxing. Loved the beach hammock the beds around the pool. The spa music along the path in the resort is so relaxing. The staff are very helpful and kind. Overall the food is very good. I love Mexican food and I was very happy with the selection. Lots of fresh fruits ect .. Restaurant à la carte Italian was very good .. burrata.. ect beautiful decor Mexican was so good .. mole enchiladas Cochinita pibil ect Spicy margaritas..!! The steakhouse was good Picanha, beef carpaccio.. ???????? The cocktails especially at the lobby where very well done. Great sélections. The resort it self is beautiful. Nice pizzeria , tacos restaurant and crêperie around the pool. The lobby is a Little outdated could use a refresh but still enjoyable. The room ( premium) was very clean and the bed comfortable. Some refresh and renovations could be done but it is nice and modern.. we loved the tennis and pickeball fields. The beach is beautiful!! Powder white sand Nice to walk on the left side for hours HOWEVER sargasse are ruining the experience but this is Mother Nature. We didn’t swim in the ocean much unfortunately. This is nobody’s fault and they clean it day and night !!!! Lots of efforts being made to clean the beach. Pool Is beautiful Animation is pretty good. Staff are very friendly. Love the coffee shop such a beautiful place to get a good specially coffee. The lush grounds are absolutely amazing!!! It’s a small resort very intimate but big enough that it doesn’t feel crowded. Very beautiful resort and I highly recommend it. I would and probably go again which is rare for us.. I loved the bar service with servers around the pool and beach which is rare for a 4 stars resort ???????? The excursion desk (dive shop) around the pool offers amazing tours. We tried the 35$ snorkeling was worth every penny. Thanks to Ilia for an amazing experience. We encountered turtles , stingray, eels and many beautiful ?? creatures!! Leaves at 12:30 back at 14:30 10/10 It’s not a 5 stars but it is a very comfortable, fun and beautiful resort!! It was everything to please everyone!!

The resort is fantastic. Alejandra, Rolando, Enrique, and Giovanny from the Bars do a great job as well as Maria in the omelette station in the breakfast and Veronica from the Japanese restaurant. On top of that Laura the housekeeper is not just a hardworking person but she always delivers a great customer service.
