Okay option in Charlottetown
swim_bunny2012 (Halifax, Canada) on Jan 28, 2026
Booked a King room, but received a double Queen instead and when I went back to reception was told they didn't have enough King rooms because of a conference. Request for extra towels through the app took only 15 minutes. Lots of counter space and good lighting in bathroom. Fluffy towels but they smelled very chemically. Adjustable showerhead, but water pressure wasn't very good. Scratchy Kleenex. No issues with housekeeping. Poor lighting in room as is typical in hotels. App doesn't allow (unlike the app at other Mariott properties) pre-ordering room service such as breakfast for a particular time. Reasonable delivery fee for room service. Dinner arrived within 30 minutes. Water's Edge (restaurant on site) - Floors were sticky and the bench seats had crumbs all over them. Ate in for breakfast and had room service dinner. The buffet looked decent but I didn't notice it until I'd ordered off the menu and it curiously wasn't listed as an option on the menu. Small tea pot but server refilled with hot water halfway through. Food came quickly, within 20 minutes. Mushroom omelette was okay, just cheddar and mushrooms. Salmon was a small portion of fish and vegetables which was disappointing for the price ($34), but had a decent taste. Tiramisu had too much whipped cream and not enough biscuit.
A good hotel
SuttonElliott24 (Sutton, United Kingdom) on Sep 28, 2025
The hotel is in a good position near the waterfront. It is very big in comparison to everything else in Charlottetown and not the most attractive building from the outside, however the public areas are clean and smart and our room was big, quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The check in was okay although help with our luggage would have been appreciated. We didn’t know whether we could access the underground car park before checking in and the doorman didn’t seem to know. He wouldn’t let us park in front of the hotel whilst we went inside to find out what to do, as he said he had a bus party due. Instead he made us unload our suitcases kerbside and my husband had to find somewhere to park on the street, whilst I checked in. The doorman took two of our cases inside but left the other two outside for me to manage. It transpired that we could have gone directly into the car park without having to check in first. Breakfast is a choice of buffet or ordering from the menu. It was average but the staff were cheerful and enthusiastic. It’s worth noting that lots of coach tours use this hotel and this did cause us a bit of an issue at breakfast one day, when two coach loads of people were filling the breakfast room and we had to wait for a table.. All in all an enjoyable stay in beautiful PEI.
Large hotel

Overnight stay and did not have dinner or breakfast. Large car park in basement and appears to have everything you would expect. Go to the market by the harbour if there on a Sunday.
Hell on earth

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff was rude they did not clean the rooms. Other guest were complaining about how awful the staff was. The worst was when we left an item that a dead relative gifted to us , they threw it out and hung up on us. We had to call back 3 times to even get information about our lost items. NEVER GO HERE
Two Night Stay During a Tour
FF13 (Sykesville, Maryland) on Aug 07, 2025
We stayed in this hotel for two nights during a tour of the region. The location is excellent - close to the waterfront, boardwalk, and the shopping district. We had a nice 3rd floor room which was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was inside a tub. There were no grab bars and no safety mat inside the tub. This is a very large and busy hotel also connected to a convention center. Breakfast was served in a large dining area with several rooms off of the lobby. Breakfast staff members were very attentive and the food selection was excellent.
