Loudest hotel we've ever had the displeasure of staying at.

Feneant (Moncton, Canada) on Nov 20, 2022

The location is hard to beat though as it's just so close to everything. The parking can be challenging as it's used for way more than the hotel- we had to do a few rounds until we found someone that left. The rooms have seen some renovations but the hotel is dated. We would have been comfortable (but sure weren't) as the room was cozy and comfortable. The toilet paper they use is horrible, seems like they could afford to put more than the recycled half-ply garbage they use. What absolutely ruined out stay was that there were at least 7 hockey teams staying there with boys from 6-9 along with their families so the noise was the loudest I've ever seen in a hotel. The lack of respect ... I mean these parents were allowing their kids to do everything from playing hockey in every hallway, running everywhere, playing tag in the elevators until 11Pm- for that reason we will likely never stay here again because of the simply risk that we might ever book during another tournament. That said, the wonderful lady at the front desk was happy to change us into a room on a different floor but even so we had kids playing tag all over the hotel so the noise could only go down from constant incessant sreaming fest to a loud burst of yelling every 15-20 minutes. Because of this we checked out early and switched to nearby boutique hotel which does not cater to teams.

Great location but tired hotel

fgcle (Washington DC, District of Columbia) on Nov 16, 2022

Great location but very tired hotels. Rooms are awkward layout, hot water was only adequate. Room cleaning was spotty and never removed empty bottles, trash or clean toilet. Most frustrating was the Wi-Fi. If it can’t be dependable, don’t offer it!!! I would have gladly paid additional for dependable Wi-Fi Staff was good Restaurant was good Gym is very tired and dirty

Back to normal!

879luciel (Moncton, Canada) on Nov 15, 2022

Events are happening again, feels good to travel again. Was there for the Spirit Fest. The lady at the reception desk kept her smile and her cool despite the long line waiting for service. Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The only thing I thought odd was the absence of a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Nice hotel let down by its Housekeeping service

Peter H (Leicester, United Kingdom) on Sep 22, 2022

Great room, very modern and good condition, two Queen size beds with were super comfy. Great central location, with underground car park (bit pricey but it's a city). We stayed a Saturday night, and it was quite noisy, but Sunday was Ok. Housekeeping is what lets the hotel down, our room was not serviced until 4pm on the first night and the 2nd night came back at 5.15 still not made up. Spoke to supervisor who said were short staffed, about 6pm we saw a one of the over worked housekeeping staff who at least made up the beds and emptied the bins. Eventually about 7pm the supervisor sent someone!

Excellent location

DonnaFinn101 (Maine) on Sep 18, 2022

This hotel is in a wonderful location and close to everything. It was crowded and it was nice to see it so busy. The front desk staff were kind and attentive as well as helpful. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Rooms have spectacular views and I loved the bath products. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in PEI. As a lifetime titanium member of Marriott this hotel did not let me down.
