My wife and I just completed an incredible week at Sandals Grenada. From the moment we arrived at the airport in St. George’s until our departure, we were treated like royalty. As soon as we picked up our luggage, we were able to hop on the waiting Sandals shuttle for the quick five minute drive to the resort. We had booked a Club level room and so we were whisked from the shuttle to meet with our Club Concierge who checked us in right away. Our Club Concierge had already booked reservations for us at Butch’s for that night (and for our last night) and at Kimono’s on the Thursday night. We were informed that the other restaurants did not need reservations (they didn’t and we had no trouble just walking in). By the time we got to our beautiful room (only a few minutes after arriving), our luggage was already in the room. After unpacking, we had time for a walk around the resort before dinner. The resort isn’t huge or overwhelming but has everything one needs for a perfect holiday. There are two large pools. One is centrally located and has music and activities. The other is near the beach and is more serene. The walk between the two is under five minutes. The beach is terrific with rock barriers to keep the waters calm. We did however, have two red flag days at the end of our vacation which kept most swimmers out of the water. While it is true that many lounge chairs are reserved by the butlers very early in the morning, there were still good chairs and umbrellas available when we went out, with choices of shade or sun. Same on pool days. Now, about the food. Every restaurant was outstanding but Butch’s and Kimonos were at a different level. We have eaten and many outstanding steakhouses throughout the world and Butch’s can compete with any of them. Also, the restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating to our dietary restrictions and ensured that everything was to our liking. Kimonos is a teppanyaki restaurant. We joined a large hibachi grill with 3 other couples and were entertained by “Chef”. Chef ensured that the food was cooked in a specific order to accommodate each person’s dietary restrictions and allergies. How he kept track of eight individuals’ preferences was extremely impressive. In any event, Chef had us participating and laughing and enjoying the entire experience. Not to mention the food itself, which was outstanding. For breakfast, we alternated between the buffet at Cucina Romana and the sit-down at Le Jardinier. The buffet was not huge but had a fresh omelet and egg station along with buffet regulars of scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, breads and pastries, cheeses, yogurts and fresh fruit. The breakfast at Le Jardinier was terrific. French toast and/or pancakes along with eggs were awesome. At each dinner, the staff provided us with the “cocktail of the day”. They were always really tasty. My wife and I are not big drinkers, but we did enjoy the house wines and the fact that the spirits were all top shelf. Finally, and most importantly, the staff. This is what makes the entire experience. Everyone from the Club Concierge staff, to the restaurant servers, the boat crew for snorkeling and the pool and beach staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. No one passes you without a greeting (and they are genuine about it). A special shout out to Jeniffer from Guest Services who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We loved our Sandals experience. We can’t wait to return.

Sandals Grenada has always stood in a class of very high standards. This resort offers well manicured lawns along with polite professional staff who always greeted us with welcoming smiles. We've admired how the facility has well mantained the landscaping and beautiful display of flowers. The array of cusine gives our taste buds an awakening of mouthwatering dishes of spices. The chefs' dishes were always beautifully displayed. Our room was always well stocked with beverages and daily clean towels and linen. Our home away from daily life has seem like a large slice of paradise. If only we could have brought this beautiful oasis back home.This resort has offered us wonderful memories. It's probably why we keep returning for the past seven years! We can't wait for our future vacation to return home. We love what Grenada provides for those needing a beautiful paradise vacation resort..

From the short ride airport to resort to the wonderful reception staff, pool bartenders and entertainment crew it was the best vacation! I also can not say enough about the food. Sandals Grenada did not disappoint!

Sandals Grenada is wonderful. This small but with all the restaurant choices and amenities of larger sandals resorts. Diving..sandals dive masters are amazing …Adrian especially is wonderful. Diving in Jan was drifting diving but they kept it so safe and wonderful. Spa. Massages were amazing!!! Restaurants. Staff if wonderful. Kim Ron at spices breakfast especially! All restaurant had excellent food! Entertainment. Best shows we have ever seen at Sandals resorts. Every night something fantastic. Their entertainment team could be in Vegas! Rooms are beautiful with dark Caribbean wood and beautiful flora. Many rooms are up hills so be aware of that if there are any mobility issues. They have carts . Pools are smaller compared to other sandals but so very clean. There is great snorkeling off the beach but bring your own gear as they do not rent only sell gear for snorkeling on your own. This resorts is a great mix of British Canadians Americans as well as other countries represented of all ages! Many people tell us this is their favorite and we can see why! We will be back.

We love to Scuba Dive and explore whilst appreciating luxurious accommodation and great food. This has been our favourite Caribbean destination so far. The Grenada Sandals team are friendly and professional. They can’t do enough for you and make you feel so welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. Our biggest thanks has to go to the dive team. A special mention to a brilliant guy called Adrian as well as boat captain Shaun. All the dive team are so brilliant, from the shop facing staff to the boat team and put safety first. The briefings were clear and detailed and when conditions are challenging, you feel so safe with them taking great care of you. Adrian, Captain, Price, Z, Tyrone, Lester and the fabulous team make diving so much fun. The dive sites are varied and close so that you’re not out long before the dive starts. We have already booked to come back next year. Sandals Grenada is that good. My only idea for improvement would be having more excursions off site and more self serve buffets. But apart from that, I have to say what a fabulous holiday we’ve had. One of the best. Thank you Sandals. Linda, Collin, Spencer and Yolanda.
