The good: Beds, location, overall comfort The not so good: housekeeping only provided every two days. Not informed at check in, told it was on their websiite, not there when I checked. Did not get housekeeping even on day 2, no reason given. The bad: renovations going on at brewery next door. Loud, noisy trucks starting at 6 am every day. Their windows provide NO soundproofing. Hear every voice that goes past your room from the driveway below.

Great location near the waterfront, restaurants and many attractions in downtown Halifax. Stayed one night, the property and room are kept clean but the balcony left something to be desired. Overall a good place to stay in Halifax.

This Courtyard Marriott is older — but, clean, comfortable, and charming in its own way. The location is outstanding — only minutes by foot — from the waterfront and countless dining options. There is plenty of lobby seating, an excellent bistro and bar, and the hotel staff are exceptionally friendly. I would stay here again, for sure!!

Nice hotel. We stayed one night for my birthday. We have stayed here before. Our room was booked with a balcony. Although it was nice to sit outside there was no view and everything around the balcony could use some time and effort to power wash the dirt and grime off the floor, walls and plexiglass. The room was small but nice and clean. Some updating to the bathroom and possibly have bathrobes and more hand towels available, especially for the price it costs for one night. The hotel is close to the waterfront so that is convenient to walk almost anywhere. I would recommend to stay here.

We stayed here for 2 nights while travelling across the maritime. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk anywhere and you are right in the middle of the Boardwalk. The room was okay but showing its age, and the hotel definitely needs to be updated. I would recommend for anyone who wants to explore the harbour, but just expect that the hotel hasn’t been renovated for some time.
