Really lovely, great location, finding the entrance was a little hard but overall, loved it

Friendly staff, especially in the little bistro. Food was really good ! I wish they sort of explained how it worked before I sat there but it was fine. My only complaint is the room we stayed at the last leg of the trip (we stayed two nights and then went around Nova Scotia) and the came back and spent two nights before leaving) was the windows weren’t sound proof and finding the entrance was a little confusing to find. (You DO turn down that little alley with the restaurant) Otherwise I’d stay there again in a heart beat!
Beautiful hotel

The hotel is conveniently located right down by the waterfront. The room is spacious, with a couch, desk and very comfortable bed and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. All around great place to stay and will stay again when we come back to visit!
Great location but disappointing

This Courtyard location is perfect for exploring downtown Halifax and the harbour front is within steps. However, it’s probably the only Courtyard we’ve ever stayed at that doesn’t provide bottled water in the room and the bistro breakfast offerings are over priced Starbucks coffees and defrosted frozen pastries.
Loved the location!

My family enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved how convenient it was to the boardwalk, but also easy to walk to other sites in Halifax. Arriving late on a Saturday evening, the on-site parking was full and we even had to wait to get a spot at the lot across the street, but after that we were able to park in the hotel garage. Pool was clean, warm, and usually empty, and the hot tub was hot! Rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace and zen garden spaces as well. Coffee and breakfast options across the street at Cabin Coffee were better than on-site.
Disappointed, over-priced, no parking

Nicer than the previous night in a low rated hotel. No parking for a Ford 350 pickup. Had to use public parking across the street that cost us $200 overnight and the spaces were much too narrow so we had to leave one person outside to guide the driver into the extra small space. Driver had to squeeze out the door with the help of husband so as not to hit the car next to us or ding our door. $7.50 + tip for one Coors Light that was not cold enough. 8th floor deck overlooking harbor was nice but seat cushions were heavily stained and dirty. 15% tax rate on everything. Our first and last trip to Halifax. Disappointing all around.
