First class service goes a long way. Despite energy challenges out of their control, I had another wonderful stay at Cohiba in Havana. Special kudos to the ladies at the Level Desk ESTELA & HEIDI, whom went out of their way to accommodate all our requests. I also have to call out the staff at the Level lounge for their excellence service and friendly attitude. This is the best Hotel in Havana and it is not even close. Note: By the way the view of the ocean is breathtaking. You just can't make that up ??

We had a wonderful stay at the Meliá Cohiba with our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome, and the hotel provided a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy our vacation. A special thank you goes to Indira, who truly made our stay even more enjoyable. She was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with any questions we had or suggestions we needed. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made a real difference, and we are very grateful for all her support. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so memorable. We would be happy to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Havana.

This hotel lost more than half of its original quality. The staff's attitude is now completely unethical. For example, in the Italian restaurant, they raise menu prices and only inform you when it's time to pay the bill, or they change their prices to dollars overnight using their own hotel exchange rate that doesn't reflect the real exchange rate, without informing the customers. The last time I went, the focaccia I used to have as a snack, which originally cost 630 Cuban pesos, was converted to 5 dollars, and the waitress indicated that the price was 700 pesos without specifying that that was the exchange rate and not the new price of the pizza. The final bill was 3850 pesos and not the expected 700. There was also a new included tip that wasn't mentioned, and in the same style, a pile of traps throughout all the hotel services. It's a complete deception; I personally advise avoiding the Meliá chain like the plague, especially the Meliá Cohiba in Havana.

I just returned from a short but pleasant stay at Cohiba. Hands down the best thing about this property is the professionalism of its employees who make you feel welcome, respected, and care for at all times, from the gentlemen at the valet to the housekeeping staff, room service, front desk, etc. I strongly recommend selecting accommodations in one of the Level rooms for a more VIP experience, including the personalized attention of the wonderful ladies at the Level Desk whom will try to accommodate any request. Keep up the good work, and thank you Melia for fostering a culture of first class customer service.
