I have stayed at the Waikiki Circle Hotel many times and I keep coming back because of how perfect it is in Waikiki and what a fantastic value it is and because the staff are so friendly and helpful. Located right across Kalakaua Ave from the beach, you are right where the action is. Restaurants and activities of all kinds abound. Every room has a balcony, and the room rates are very reasonable. The Waikiki Circle has my highest possible recommendation.

Great value; Great location

Chris S (Tucson, Arizona) on Feb 14, 2025

This is a good hotel located in the midst of Waikiki and all its beaches, shopping and restaurants. We felt it was a very good value for our money. There is no pool or spa and it's definitely not a "high end luxury" resort, but we didn't need nor want that. Our room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit small but it worked out ok. We could walk across the street to Waikiki Beach in our bare feet! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely recommend and return.

One star only for the view!

We stayed here for a week in January. Family members booked the hotel because they wanted a view of the ocean. And we certainly did have a beautiful view BUT 1. There was no pool. Because we are senior citizens, we were not able to safely walk on the Sandy beach or in the ocean. So this was a disappointment. 2. The Aston is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) hotels on the beach. So likewise, their facilities were very old. I think the only thing that was updated were the sliding patio doors to our balcony. The showers were so small - maybe 3’ wide at the opening but tapered on both sides toward the shower head. No microwave in the room. If you wished to use a microwave, you had to go to the lobby. Which was another disaster: the “lobby” was maybe a 6’x 8’ room; open to the outside with no air conditioning, 2 dining room chairs and a cement block to sit on. We were unable to check in right away and this was the only place to sit and wait! It was uncomfortable and very warm. Yes, there was a ceiling fan but it was not adjustable and was running at such a low speed, there was no air movement. If you wanted ice, you needed to go to the front desk, and ask them for the ice

Horrible hotel

Paint was peeling from the ceiling the toilet leaked every time I would use it was forced to put towels to keep it clean horrible hotel I suggest you stay elsewhere the hotel room is super old smells nasty the showers are tiny where you can barely shower in it the toilet you need to sit sideways to fit comfortably the safe is installed on top of a pipe which is incorrect the beds are not comfortable would never return to this place

Excellent location and clean, not much else to brag about this hotel

amylF7355EF (Danville, California) on Jan 29, 2025

Mu husband and I ended up sleeping on the 2 separate full size beds because his weight on the mattress made me roll down. Room was clean buy view of nothing but a big white neighbor building wall. Hotel was round 14 floors high with uniquely shaped rooms. We requested a king but got 2 full size and no walking g space. Perk was the water filter down in the little sitting area lobby and morning newspaper. No space for other amenities. Location was amazing!
