My daughter performed/competed in Hula Oni E across the street. Instead of staying on property, found a great deal at Aqua Palms. Checked in around dinner after work and was given one of the penthouse suites. What a nice surprise! The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and modern. Nice job on the renovation. Bed comfortable and bathroom products (soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash) smelled amazing. Nice big walk in closet. Plenty of counter space on the wet bar. The partial ocean and diamond head views from the large balcony were spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The location was very convenient- close to lots of eateries and shopping options. The proximity to the beach was very close. Great stay and would definitely return for a future stay!

friendly staff, clean rooms. located between downtown waikiki and ala moana shopping center. need to walk some 10-15 minutes to restaurants and food area of waikiki.

Absolutely disgusting room the first room they gave us had roaches, and the toilet seat had dried up pee on it. The second room they gave us also had bugs and the air-conditioning was not working. We were so exhausted and just accepted it. Would not recommend this place

The location is fantastic but the hotel is very dated and tired. Lighting, especially in the bathroom is atrocious! I could hardly see to apply my makeup. Maybe the air conditioning filters need to be cleaned/changed, but the clothes I spread around to dry remained wet throughout the night.

On the second-to-last day, the power went out in all the hotel rooms. By the time I checked out, 24 hours later, the power still hadn’t come back on. For 24 hours, there was no air conditioning in my room, and the refrigerator wasn’t working, so I had to throw away the food I’d stored in it. There was no Wi-Fi and no hot water either. This is unacceptable for a hotel in Waikiki in 2026.
