Nice location but dated hotel.

The location is fantastic but the hotel is very dated and tired. Lighting, especially in the bathroom is atrocious! I could hardly see to apply my makeup. Maybe the air conditioning filters need to be cleaned/changed, but the clothes I spread around to dry remained wet throughout the night.
I don't recommend it

On the second-to-last day, the power went out in all the hotel rooms. By the time I checked out, 24 hours later, the power still hadn’t come back on. For 24 hours, there was no air conditioning in my room, and the refrigerator wasn’t working, so I had to throw away the food I’d stored in it. There was no Wi-Fi and no hot water either. This is unacceptable for a hotel in Waikiki in 2026.
Great location and staff. Close to beach, restaurants, shopping, & transportation. However, some improvements are needed

Great location. Close to the beach, public transportation, shopping, and restaurants. Hotel is an older building and in need of some repairs. Elevators were painfully slow on busy days due to very slow leveling/opening of doors. Sliding doors to balcony did not work well, lock was clearly broke (missing screws) and difficult to lock. Room was adequate. Could use better cleaning but was OK. Coffee pot, microwave, and fridge worked well but hardly constitutes a kitchenette. We were not overwhelmed but appreciated the staff and would like to return, hopefully with a few improvements before our next stay.
Affordable, comfortable, & convenient to all!

I went for a quick interisland day trip which required surgery. The staff was friendly, rooms comfortable, and everything was walkable. I always opt to stay here! Plus my service animal was very welcomed
Great value and location.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Area is great, within walking distance of beach and many other attractions. Food in the area good too. Being from Hawaii, I am aware of the tight spaces of the roads and parking. If you're new to Hawaii, be mindful, garage is very tight. All in all, I think this hotel is a great value. 2 things to know, tight parking and slow elevators, common to the islands.
