We stayed last year for Halloween and as always the best bang for our dollar in Waikiki. We are no strangers to The Regency on beachwalk it was our 6th time and have never had a bad stay. When we go it is for 3 weeks at a time so a kitchenet is a must. Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans for our needs. Toaster,coffee maker and blender and if something is missing or needed a call to the front desk and it will be handled. As we go for that long a time it is very important that we are comfortable and feel at home. That is exactly what we experience. The staff are top notch. Zack,Jacque the front desk lady's to bell hop and maintenance man all make you feel at home and like family/ohana. We will be back this Halloween and when ever we go this is our home away from home.

Had a great vacation and great room. We were on the 8th floor with an amazing ocean view. Could see the Friday Hilton fireworks from our balcony! Staff were really friendly. Parking lot was small but manageable.

This hotel met all of our family needs. Full kitchen which we needed. It was in walking distance of many attractions (Zoo, Aquarium, beach, shopping, International Market place etc., Room was nice and had adequate clothing space. Atmosphere was nice as we had a nice view of the beach and for what I paid for three rooms, it was worth it. Especially, to be on walking of Waikiki and many attractions. I would book there again. Parking was $39 a day.

First, the place reminds me of a rundown hostel. Our room has cracked paint all over the ceiling, the bathroom shower has a busted water knob / temperature handle. Next, the AC controller and the TV controllers had dead batteries. One might say it’s just a call into maintenance but… we literally just checked in. Does no one check these things out? Next, the green couch had little bugs in it, pretty gnarly. Microwave face plate had grease, ketchup and other gunk on the buttons. The light switches are caked in mold. TV content is weirdly zoomed in and doesn’t seem to be adjustable. TVs are old and feel like it’s from 15 years ago. Lastly, several of the electrical outlets don’t work. Literally does not work. I feel like I’m staying at hostel but paying premium prices. If this place was $150/nt I wouldn’t have a complaint, but when you’re talking $340-$380 a night it’s just deflating.

We stayed for 12 nights, when you stay for this long we love the apartment type rather than a hotel room. This apartment with lounge, dining, kitchen and lanai/balcony is great. Location is perfect. We will be back.
