Please Avoid

George K on Feb 24, 2024

The hotel is nice. Clean but uninspired it kind of looks like a nice mall, however do note expect any sort of service or help if something goes wrong. Have a suite which is quite large with only minor issues (light bulbs out - coffee not refilled) - small things. The location is at top end of the strip so plan on driving if you want to go anywhere else besides here - it does feel isolated. The thing I take the most issue is with the service. At best it's just impersonal. Having my 50th birthday here and I normally I stay at MGM properties as I status but wanted to mix it up a bit and my friends chose this place thinking it was a "luxury" property. It is not. I booked all the rooms through booking.com. For a couple of us check-in was smooth. However, for one friend we were told her room was "cancelled" and to contact Booking.com - the hotel could do nothing. Without too much detail I spent TWO HOURS at the front desk going back and forth and there was still no resolution. We even missed dinner reservation trying to sort this out. Essentially each party blamed each out but would simply not talk to each other. It was elevated to a manager at the hotel who did not have the courtesy even to come out to talk to me - just sent a front desk person back and forth. I would expect better service and to be treated better. Even after showing them my confirmation, my credit card statement showing payment, literally everything it seemed people just through their hands up in the air. I come to vegas three or four times a year. I shall be avoiding this place and cannot recommend it. With all the options you have on the strip there is not much going for it and you will pay a premium to be treated badly. I will power through my birthday celebrations with the only regret that my friends chose this hotel.

A 3 star stay, that could have easily been 5

Ryan S (Los Angeles, California) on Feb 22, 2024

We stayed at the Conrad (at Resorts World) for the first time for several nights in February 2024. We had a room on the 7th Floor. We thought overall the service from most people was very nice. The elevators were fast, the casino was great, the room was nice and the restaurants we ate at were great (Viva and Brezza). The room was quite large and adequate with a nice King bed (although I wish they had better pillows) a nice table, large windows, a bench at the end of the bed, a personal cooler/refrigerator and a nice large bathroom and shower. We had a room on the 7th Floor, which is the 1st floor of rooms and we overlooked a nice roof. This is why my review is 3 stars and not 5. When we checked-in the check-in rep thanked me for being a Diamond member and then proceeded to try to sell me an upgrade to a "larger room on a high floor facing the strip". I then asked if I could have any complimentary upgrades for Diamond and she said "no". All of a sudden, there were not even any high floor rooms and she proceeds to assign me to Floor 7. The rudeness and contradictory things that they are not supposed to do, is exactly what they did. This should not be allowed and Hilton should not allow a local property to do this. Otherwise, the stay was great. One check-in person caused a 5 star experience to go to a 3 star experience.
