Wifi does not work

Navinan R (Melbourne, Australia) on Apr 20, 2024

Decided to stay in this hotel as it was close to the convention center. Unfortunately Wifi is atrocious inside the room. Does notbfunction and feels like dial up speed. Do not rely on Wifi in your room if you need to work. Worse, I have dealt with front desk and technical support over 6 separate calls trying to resolve. They keep going in circles (very frustrating). Searching the reviews here, it looks like WiFi has had issues since 2021. High speed broadband in a 5 star hotel should be like running water. Fix it.

We would definitely stay again.

Stephanie P (Savannah, Georgia) on Apr 20, 2024

Great three night stay. I would definitely stay again. I’ve stayed at Venetian, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay and I think I like this property quite well in comparison. We made this reservation months ago as part of a package with the intention of seeing a Vegas Golden Nights game. I cannot understand why there have been so many negative reviews as we had a wonderful stay. Melissa and Andrea at the front desk were pleasant and accommodating. We arrived early (10a) on Wednesday and while our room was not ready it gave us a chance to store bags, check out the resort and catch an early lunch at Esther’s. Our room was ready by the time we came back and we were moved to a strip view overlooking the pools. Our room was very nice (king) and the room was very clean, everything worked and smelled clean and fresh. The rooms all have a mini fridge (not coffee makers - go grab early coffee at Starbucks or Randy’s Donuts - both are just inside the casino). Housekeeping comes later in the day (midday or later) so we kept catching them as we were coming back in for downtime before dinner. They are thorough and very accommodating. We found Here Kitty Kitty (speakeasy) across the casino in one of the famous foods street eats but didn’t go. We spent one day at the pool which was really pleasant - it gets crowded Friday-Sunday so you need to get a lounger early and preferably under a tree. They do not have food all day on the pool deck so plan accordingly. The infinity pool is nice - we went on Wednesday and no issues. The hotel has plenty of water fillers so bring your bottle. We had no problems with cabs or Ubers. Much less crazy than a lot of other strip locations but you are far north. Given it is April it was a nice walk to the Venetian and we even walked to brunch at the Wicked Spoon in the Cosmopolitan but it is a hike. The only thing that I was less enamored with was that as a preferred Hilton member the meal credits are in Dawg House which is a sports bar. So better to use for lunch or dinner and get breakfast elsewhere. They have breakfast which is okay but limited. Coffee is hot and fresh though and staff is nice.
