Loyalty does not matter

It seems loyalty does not matter, despite my Titanium status I was told I couldn't get access to the lounge. This has never happened at any level of hotel with Marriott before. I will never stay at the W Las Vegas again!

Not sure what happened during this stay, but it was a huge disappointment. When we first checked in, the room had an extremely strong smell of poop/vomit coming from the bed area. I went down to the lobby and requested a room change. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was sold out that night without even checking. I explained that this was unacceptable, and only then did she say she would check with her manager. Suddenly, a room became available. She assigned us the new room without much apology and didn’t offer any assistance with moving our belongings, but we managed. The second room was fine until the next day, when I found a large, live cockroach running around the room and eventually hiding somewhere. I went back to the front desk again and requested another room. This time, the gentleman assisting me was much more professional. He immediately apologized, contacted his manager, and arranged another room. He also offered to help us move our belongings, which I appreciated. Having major cleanliness issues on both nights was extremely frustrating and wasted a lot of our time waiting in line and moving between rooms. What surprised me most was that the resort did not offer any compensation or even offer to remove anything from our bill. On top of that, I gambled for several hours, typically betting $100–$250 per hand, yet I received very minimal points. I’m not sure what was calculated but it was disappointing given the amount of play. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. It will be difficult for me to consider returning to this property after what happened during this trip.
They charge for the keurig cups. No one does that!!!

Nice room but don't touch anything our you just bought it. Everything there is sensored. The resort fee is high and does not cover much.
W Resort at Mandalay Bay. Separate, more spacious, luxurious, clean establishment. Great price

W Resort. Spacious, luxurious, clean, 2 room, great price.
I'd skip over-priced Las Vegas and go to Europe or anywhere else. Las Vegas is overpriced trash and miserable.

The hotel does not offer any free amenities that we could use. The pool closed at 6:00pm and didn't leave us any time to wrap up our conference and go for swimming. Everything in the room's refrigerator was 5x more than outside of Las Vegas, and touching anything resulted in being charged. We couldn't use the fridge at all because it was stocked with overpriced food and beverages. Keurig coffee in the room was priced at $16!
