Extremely disappointing

Location was beautiful. Pool was tiny and milky water and really crowded. Limited breakfast options and long queues for bad coffee. Room service was absolutely disgusting and served in a takeaway bag. The sofa bed was old and uncomfortable. The food at rum fire restaurant was amazing but was booked out and only open Thursday to Sunday. Both interactions with the concierge were disappointing and truly unhelpful. Just feel like we paid top dollar and really average overall. Would not recommend or rebook.
The facility is fine but older feel. Very old a/c units blowing down directly on the bed. No help between 3-5:30 am.

They didn’t offer to move us until the next day. The move worked out much better but we did not sleep more than 2 hours the first night. I asked for a credit and they refused and only offered $100 for an awful room not worth a night at all. I’m sorry but they should credit me for the night. Also beds in that room were terribly uncomfortable. Our new room is great. Thank you
Wonderful location, nice hotel and staff!

We stayed here for a week right after Christmas and had a wonderful time. The resort has an amazing location right on the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice. We were always able to find chairs even when coming down later in the day. Food at both Lava and RumFire were good. Service was also friendly and nice. The Platinum breakfast benefit is ok, only worth $16 discount for 2 people total if you order hot items. It’s an older hotel, but we had no complaints at all about our room. It was a good size for our family with kids. I don’t understand these recent negative reviews. I think some people are confused by the timeshare side of the hotel (across the road away from ocean). Or they expect Four Seasons level service, if they want that-go ahead and pay quadruple the prices and enjoy it. We had a great time at the Sheraton Poipu!
Great location for Kaua’i Resort

We enjoyed our holiday stay at this resort. Room was comfortable, clean but showed some signs of wear. Our room was oceanfront view, conveniently located by the beach and pool. The staff were friendly. Spent most of our time our of the room. Nice location for nearby restaurants and attractions. Would have given a 3 of 5 hadn’t been for the great location.
Management Must Be Clueless

Our room was $1,080 per night for a suite with an ocean view. One expects for this price things like cutlery instead of stir sticks. I'm not asking for a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates, which is normal in this price range, but not even a spoon? The co?ee was not good. No microwave. No wine glasses. Neither the bathroom scale nor the flashlight worked. We went to their luau. While the fire dancers were good, the first thing we put in our mouth was meat so salty we could not eat it. It was the first luau we ever attended in an uncovered area. When it rained, my wife and friends left (but most people didn't), and my friends were angry the hotel had not canceled the luau and returned our money. The band was on one side of the audience but the speakers were on the opposite side, which was confusing and very unnatural. The MC talked too much, and said a couple of historical inaccuracies. Of the three previous luaus we'd attended, none had us sitting too far from the show. This one did. Our friends were at the hotel to attend a sales pitch for some kind of vacation property sales. They laughed at the notion their room would convince them to buy anything.
