Love this place! We go back annually!!

My husband and I started going to Fiesta Americana in Cabo in 2019 and loved it. We went back in August 2020 and had a wonderful time again. The staff was great about COVID precautions, while also being exceptionally friendly and providing wonderful service. We loved it so much we are heading back a third time this October. However, instead of just us, we have so much confidence in this resort, we are bringing our whole family, including both our kids and their significant others (all in their 20s), my sister and her fiance (in their 30s), and our parents (in their 70s). While this is a big group with varying tastes in food and activities, we know we will all have a wonderful time. We love this resort for many reasons. The views are beautiful from your balcony or while in one of the many pools on the property. The amenities are also wonderful. We did a couples massage at the spa in 2019 (it was closed in 2020 due to COVID or we would have done another!). The massages were amazing and the whole spa is so beautiful. We also hit the gym a few times which had everything we needed to get a good workout in. And we had to get some cardio in because the food is outstanding! I’m vegetarian, my husband eats meat and seafood, and we both always loved our meals at all of the restaurants. That is another bonus, not only is the food great, but the restaurants, especially for dinners, are really beautiful too. But more than anything the staff at this resort is simply the best!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. While the whole staff is great, many of them go above and beyond. Special thanks goes to Cristo Rey who always made sure we had anything we wanted while we were poolside at Blu and during breakfast at Vina Del Mar. He not only provided exceptional service but has become a friend that has welcomed us back each year we go. As we plan for our upcoming trip with our large group, we’ve been emailing with Diana, a concierge at the resort. She has been so helpful in providing us with a lot of information and assistance as we prepare to bring this large group to Mexico for a week-long family vacation!

Meh!

We were excited to come to Cabo for the first time. We left feeling underwhelmed. The resort is nice, but tired. It needs repair- umbrellas broken, pins missing to keep them up or spokes collapsed. Tiles also missing from various places around the pool deck. The room was subpar. These are just some examples. We paid for a Deluxe Ocean View and you can see that is not what we were given. Staff ignored our requests to see if we could move even if we paid an upgrade. Later in the week, we were here unfortunately during Hurricane Olaf. This resort is not prepared. They cleared decks and closed pools, oceans and bars and told us to go to our rooms very early, almost a full day before the storm came. There was nothing to do or no where to really hang out as most seating areas, including the lobby were cleared. They did set up a conference room but it was too little, too late. By comparison, we had been in a hurricane in Jamaica several years ago and it was handled much better and more smoothly. The workers seemed worried themselves which does not help in a situation such as this. Overall, I can't say enough about the workers around the pool, bars and waitstaff- they worked very hard. Those at the front desk ignored requests for help. We were at a corner and had water seeping in under our door flooding our room. The water would run down the hall, collect several inches deep and would run under door, flooding our room. We asked for sandbags and towels. Our request was ignored. My husband went and paid a worker outside to bring sandbags and towels to divert the water. That gentleman was a godsend. Others had water dripping from the ceilings all night and the property was slow to clean up. If you are coming to Cabo, perhaps consider a different property altogether. If there is any kind of tropical depression in the forecast, definitely reconsider and try to reschedule ASAP.

One of the BEST all inclusive resorts in Cabo!

We had an AMAZING quick getaway here. I found the trip deal a few months ago on a third party website and after looking at several reviews, booked it. Even on the flight there, several people mentioned that it is one of the best all inclusive resorts in Cabo. It’s about a 15 minute drive from downtown Cabo which we actually preferred. The resort is huge and has absolutely everything you could need but DON’T forget to pack your sunscreen bc it’s $40 US in the gift shop! Yes, $40! I was leery about how good the food would be for all inclusive bc the one other time I stayed at an all inclusive resort in Costa Rica, the food was terrible. Not here! Honestly, the food is actually very good. We’ve ate at the sushi, Italian, and pool restaurants and all were very fresh and delicious - and all were part of the all inclusive package. There is a timeshare portion but honestly, they are not pushy about it at all, which is very nice. The beach is private so you don’t have anyone trying to sell you stuff while you’re relaxing, and the pools are great. Be sure to claim your spot early bc they do get claimed pretty early in the day. Finally, there’s a shuttle to/from downtown on the hour for $12 pp round trip, but Uber is also an option - just be sure to text your driver your name and room number so he can get past the security gate. I honestly cannot recommend this resort enough.

Excellent service from the moment we walked into the lobby until we left. Courteous, friendly, and pleasant. Everyone we met went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Shout out to Abraham at Blu who was an amazing server and food recommender. When you visit this resort, ask for him and get his special drink the Baberaham!!!!

It was my first time in Cabo in Fiesta Grand Americana resort. Place is nice, nice pool, clean rooms with cold ac, very good service. Excellent buffet for breakfast, good restaurants. I did enjoy my stay. However there is few drawbacks. - couple of restaurants were really hot, in one I didn’t finish my dinner, and had to take desert to go. Asked other patron if he feels the same, he said yes it’s hot here. Waiters were sweating. - beach is not really walkable (no straight stretch) I think it would be to hard to walk on that very coarse sand anyway…. - and despite having do not disturb sign on door, the housekeeping still opened door like twice while I was in a room. And from my bed I had to yell it’s occupied. + I left a note for housekeeping to bring me another garbage can as there were only one in bathroom. And it was accomplished. Made me happy so I don’t have to walk to bathroom every time you need to dispose something. So overall stay was pleasant, ride to town like $8 in Uber. Food was good, being foodie no complaints. I would stay there again, as it is nice kept up resort, people that work there are nice and very helpful.
