Excellent location Friendly people Super clean room and also the lady who cleans the room super kind.

We love Villa Del Palmar, Cabo San Lucas. We have been going for many years and on each trip meet wonderful staff members. Among the many this trip, we met Roberto Silva, Executive Chef. Roberto was chatting with guests in the pool area and we were able to share with him that we had never enjoyed the food at the Sports Bar. Well, Well, Well!!! Roberto invited us to try the newly created burgers and it was an AMAZING experience!! A must have!! Now we will always go back for that burger. Thank you Roberto for the improvements. You are a Star!!

This is a great and beautiful resort! Our room and the property were all very nice. All the staff from the front desk, concierge, waiters, etc. were all very hospitable and gave great service. I felt like the all-inclusive meal plan was a good value for our needs and I like being able to go to a neighboring sister resortfor different options of places to eat. The Neptune restaurant was our favorite. Would like to come back to this resort!

I went on a family vacation a couple of weeks ago and it was our first time staying at Villa Del Palmar. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had thus far in Cabo. I highly recommend this hotel; everyone was super friendly and helpful. A special thank you to those individuals that made our stay extra special: Jonathan, Tobias and Armando at Bella California for breakfast. Nico and Francisco for tending to our needs at the pool and last but not least Guadalupe from housekeeping, she definitely made our stay much more comfortable. Muchas Gracias por sus atenciones!!

Overall we were pleased with our stay at VDP Cabo. Initially the room (that we upgraded to) was a bit smelly. Like musty and moldy. It was on the lower level of the building on the right side (if looking at the sea from the lobby). At first we thought we might have to ask to be moved but after adjusting the AC so it wouldn’t run constantly, getting the sheets and comforters changed and also asking for a dehumidifier the smells seemed to dissipate. We got multiple calls asking if the changes had helped which I appreciated! We also really loved that our room had a little walk out patio instead of a balcony. Our daughters would go out in the very well manicured garden area (shout out to the landscaping team) and play or sit on the little wall with columns. The service from housekeeping and bell men, to the restaurants and bars, then all the way to the entertainment team was outstanding. Each day our room was tidied up including towel animals or sculptures and our girls’ special stuffies were cutely arranged. The mixologists at the pool bar were great each and every time I stopped over for a quick drink or bottle of water (and reposado). Our servers at the buffets and the restaurants were very attentive as well. Our favorite spot was Carbon Grill and Alejandro (aka Alex) took care of us both nights we went there. He went above and beyond but it just seemed natural for him. The adult pool service staff were also really good . Especially Carlos and Oscar! Misael was cool too but it took some time to warm up to him cause one day we ‘mistakenly’ sat in a cabana bed cause there wasn’t anywhere else to sit… lol. I think he thought we were trying to be slick or something and at first he was a little cold to us. The seating thing was little annoying. I guess that is something I was disappointed with but it’s probably more on the guests. There were signs about not reserving loungers at the pools and that towels/ items would be removed after an hour but we witnessed so many unattended, seemingly taken chairs that eventually we just chose our spot by moving the towels ourselves and nobody ever came back, nor did any staff come by to remove them. This was at both pools. Just take your towels with you people!!!! The entertainment staff were amazing. Chloe, Rodolfo, Valeria, Tony and the rest whose names escape me right now were so fun. Oh, Chuy too. From the pool games to the nightly shows they really went all out. Karaoke night was a nice addition (and night off for them) cause I love getting on stage too. Originally it was supposed to just be ten adult singers but not enough signed up so they shifted to let kids join in. I sang my normal Folsom Prison Blues but my 10 year old also got up there in front of about 200 strangers and killed it. Everyone was so supportive and that will make her want to do it more often. I love it! Do yourself a favor though and get off resort to experience real Cabo. Do the boat tour to El Arco. Go to the Friday night artwalk downtown. Check out the marina. Hike Mt. Solmar from the dog rescue. Experience Mexico, not just the resort!
