Great for families and couples! Tourist and local friendly. Staff extremely hospitable

We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Karmina as Premium level guests. Overall, the resort offered a great experience with fantastic service, beautiful scenery, and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. One of the highlights was the massage, which was absolutely fantastic. The service throughout the resort was also consistently friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the scenery around the property was beautiful. There was a great variety of activities available during the day, and we especially enjoyed the nighttime shows, which were fun to watch and added to the overall resort experience. The food was a bit more hit or miss. Room service was inconsistent, with some meals being much better than others. The buffet was also variable, and unfortunately, Asian night was probably our least favorite. However, the Grill restaurant was excellent, with wonderful options and some of the best food we had during our stay. The gym was somewhat outdated, but it had all the essentials needed for a decent workout, so it was perfectly adequate for staying active during vacation. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Between the beautiful setting, spacious rooms, excellent service, plentiful activities, and enjoyable entertainment, Barceló Karmina made for a relaxing and fun vacation. There were definitely some inconsistencies with the food, but the positives outweighed the negatives, and we would consider staying here again.

Overall, we had a great experience at the hotel. Even though it was high season and the hotel was almost at 100% occupancy, the service was very good and the staff took great care of us. The only issue was that we were only able to book the specialty dinner for 3 out of the 9 nights we stayed. The person in charge of dinner reservations was a bit curt and dismissive. It would have been better if she had been more friendly and explained the situation regarding the full capacity and the lack of available restaurants. Also, on one of those nights, the Head Waiter was reluctant to offer us a vegan menu, saying the menu couldn't be modified. Fortunately, the chef was very accommodating and was able to prepare something for us. Apart from that, all the other staff were very kind and attentive. We would definitely return.
