A good overall experience and we will definitely go back again.

johnmn900 (Cookham Dean, United Kingdom) on Feb 22, 2024

Overall a very good experience. Good bedrooms, very good service in the ski rental shop and the nightly returns of the skis. Skiing in and out of the hotel was excellent and the staff were universally very friendly and provided good service. The breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to previous years and the dinner again didn't compare well with previous years with a rather basic and unexciting menu. (although the service was excellent ) The dinner buffets in the past were really very good and something that the hotel should reconsider and reinstate

Redeemed by the terrace and ski out location

Getaway508993 on Feb 19, 2024

The ski out location and the newly renovated slope side terrace with pool and hot tub are the sole reason for our satisfaction with staying here, and the reason we would return when in Tremblant. Otherwise, disappointing outdated rooms with torn carpet, poor hvac, and uncomfortable sleeper couches, plus long waits due to a lack of enough staff to service the terrace lead to us feeling the large year-over-year price increase at this property was more about gouging than enhancing experience.

Absolutely No One Tops Fairmont Service!

CKimoff (Toronto, Canada) on Feb 17, 2024

Both my husband and I love Fairmont Hotels. They’re always the best accommodation available in any location, with service beyond compare; So once again we splurged by booking Fairmont Mont Tremblant for our ski vacation stay. We were not disappointed. In fact, more than ever, this facility exceeded our expectations. The valet service spoiled us with the ease of access, white glove service and not worrying about our vehicle throughout our stay. Check in was a breeze with the extra friendly and helpful staff. We were delighted to find that we were quietly upgraded to a larger suite that provided us all the room we could possibly require. Brand loyalty definitely has its perks! The views from the room were spectacular and all the accoutrements that one expects in a luxury hotel, were there at the ready. We were further delighted when shortly after arriving, room service delivered a dome laden with fruit, sweets and snacks that sustained us throughout our stay – all complimentary of course, thanking us for an extended sojourn! It’s hard to list all the extras that made our stay uber-indulgent. We were literally located at the base of the mountain base with direct ski-in and ski-out access. We got fitted with our equipment right inside the hotel, saving us loads of time and trouble getting that sorted. There was a great casual restaurant that provided a delicious breakfast buffet. The five-star Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire restaurant gave us an opportunity to treat ourselves to a gourmet meal to celebrate our last night. The Axe Lounge Bar was an ideal place to go for pre-dinner cocktails, emanating a sexy and delightfully social vibe. We also loved the outdoor bar La Terrasse Après-Ski, that allowed us to enjoy a beer by an open fire, as we watched all the skiers glide in. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi was the cherry on top, affording a toasty plunge in freezing temperatures, sipping cocktails all the while. If we weren’t thrilled enough with all these offerings, imagine our surprise when yet another tray of sweets and chocolate once again magically appeared in our room mid-stay, with Fairmont’s compliments. We really can’t think of any other way this facility could have anticipated and catered to our needs, ensuring a perfect ski holiday stay! It may be a bit of a splurge compared to lesser accommodations, but there were a plethora of reasons rendering it worth every red cent. Do yourself a solid and splash out a bit for this indulgence – you’ll be extremely glad that you did! Hope to see you again very soon…

Disorganised staff, average hotel. Needs a refit and defo staff training so we don’t repeat ourselves at every point

iR265 on Feb 16, 2024

I am not one for negative reviews but from the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left we had none stop issues with lack of processes. We were charged an extra $2700 for breakfast and connecting rooms, even though these were paid on booking. We explained at reception on arrival and then every day for the 6 day stay that we had connecting rooms paid for due to young children. Yet the Fairmont charged another $50 per night even though we had paid prior. The rooms themselves are basic, light switch didn’t work and no one attended even when we asked for attention on the first night. The hotel needs an update, better staff communication and much better processes. Very disappointed.

Not vegetarian friendly

RedEyeRobots on Feb 12, 2024

Great location, the hotel is a bit dated, everything feels old and tired, very disappointed that they don’t even try to accommodate vegetarians on La Terrasse cafe, we tried to order the tartiflette without the ham and we were told that everything is pre-made and they couldn’t help us. Pre-made really??
