Anniversary Trip

NatalieH1376 on Apr 30, 2022

We love this hotel. It’s in the perfect location for skiing since it has a ski in ski out spot, close to many restaurants and stores. The hot tubs outside face the hill and have plenty of space. The rooms were nice and cozy and spacious. We came for our anniversary and they left a dessert tray in our room- which was a wonderful surprise. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. Amazing hotel. Staff, food and location is all excellent. Highly recommend

Over rated, over priced, dated and lacking restaurant staff.

MontrealCanadaAli (Montreal, Canada) on Apr 24, 2022

Dark and dated rooms. No black out blinds. $39 per night parking. Fee for the Wifi. Ate at the restaurant once, under staffed, over priced, mediocre food. I’ve stayed at several Fairmount previously and this hotel doesn’t live up to the Fairmount name. Asked for a later check out on a Sunday and apparently the hotel is booked?! Garbage on the floor in elevators. I’ve been waiting over 30 minutes for someone to help with our luggage. Apparently, this is normal for this hotel. There are superior, updated, more accommodating places to stay in Tremblant. I know, as I travel to Tremblant several times per year. Do yourself a favour and skip this one!

Perfect Location!

My husband and I got away for a long weekend at the Fairmont in Tremblant - and were NOT disappointed. Our room was clean and oh so comfortable. The ski in/ski out is a bonus feature I did not know I would love so much! We will be back.

Top Notch Service Dated Rooms a Little Dated

422petard (Ottawa, Canada) on Apr 14, 2022

Spent 2 night in a Fairmont View Room, which provided a beautiful view of Mont Tremblant. The service at the hotel is exceptional, and really enjoyed their ski concierge. The hotel offers several 4 seasons pools and a hot tub which are a great way to unwind after a day of snow boarding, a must if you are staying at this property. The room décor and washrooms are a little dated and show their wear, one does expect more in terms of furnishing at a Fairmont property. With that said it is my favorite hotel at Tremblant and I will return.

Wonderful stay for us and our doggies, skiing & charm-spa receptionists need to be replaced&more thought to plastic plsl

Our family, including 2 dogs had a wonderful stay with you! We especially so appreciate all of the kindness that all of your staff and fellow guests showed to our 2 dogs, to make us all feel so much at home. We really appreciated the unlimited dog cookies, that your chef makes and your friendly staff give out at reception throughout the day. The friendly, warm and kind ski room attendants make the flow of getting on and off the mountain even that much sweeter. It was quite a dreamy experience! The constructive feedback I would like to share is the ticket office, why is it open such short hours, and on 2 occasions the attendant was stuck either figuring things out or there was such a long line and they were not so warm/friendly. So we wrote that off as something to avoid. Also a note on the spa, when I did have a massage (which was at the Westin) it was excellent. The ladies at your reception in person, and on the phone were a true horror though. They made it super complicated to book, were extremely un-professsional and to be honest, unstable and unkind. When I had gone in person, they told me that they had no appointments, but beginning Sunday (as a school vacation week was ending) they would have lots of availability. When I called back, they would only offer me an appointment at the Westin Spa, as they claimed to be fully booked, which I was happy to go as it is sentimental as we have also stayed there before. But the way they said it felt insincere. The receptionist pointed out 4 times that I needed to bring cash as I couldn't charge to the room, even though I kept saying that I understood that and it was fine. I asked if I could be on a waitlist, she took my name but I had no faith there would be any effort made, as she was not forthcoming with any efforts to accommodate us. It literally felt like they were doing us a favor. I had also booked a facial for my teenage daughter at your spa but they also made no effort to keep us together. When I arrived at the Westin, the receptionist there giggled when I arrived, and made inappopriate comments, such as is it cold outside? To point out that I was walking over. It was literally like dealing with insane people, when I was just there to have a massage. When I was checking out, she didn't know how to input my card number manually, and had me waiting while she was reading a manual in a binder. I was friendly and patient through all of this, but seriously, I think you need to find some more stable receptionists. Even after I was so polite in return, this receptionist kept up making weird comments as she accompanied me to the closet to get my shoes. It was really a bizarre experience. The masseuse as I mentioned, and the technician who did my daughters facial were really nice. So in the context of such a well located, dog friendly and charming hotel, I think you can do much much better with Spa receptionists. Lastly, on an environmental note: we were so delighted on the mountaintop cafeteria with the effort to compost. It was a dream come true to see the 2 staff members separating the compost apart from the recycling and silverware at the tray return. I was truly able to relax and enjoy thanks to this! At your quick cafe in the hotel by the pool exit, there a huge amount of plastic waste being generated. To get 1 sandwich you have to put a whole plastic container in the landfill. I would urge you to consider matching the 5-star eco rating that the mountain has, and have more eco-friendly packaging at the quick service cafe. Thank you for reading, and again for wonderful stay at you ski-lovers heaven, dog-friendly and attentive, fun hot pools and warm friendly staff overall hotel!
