I recommended this hotel to friends as being a repeat guest, thought we would have a holiday of a lifetime like I did before . once arrived we noticed the main lifts not working at all, we checked in & reception advised we all had upgraded rooms, only the rooms were no different to my stay 3 years ago . We used the only internal lift working at certain points to which other holidaymakers commented let’s Squash in. We witness a gentleman stuck in the main lift for 20 minutes & others being stuck.
They have 5 restaurants we know due to COVID we have all had a lot of change, however opening one restaurant of Italian or steak every other night was boring as the menu is the same every time nothing changes so visiting this 5 times in my stay was enough as we had sampled most things & was not prepared to pay to eat anything else on the menu as the food was rather bland anyway. One of the restaurants never opened at all not sure why no reason was ever given we just had to put up with the decision made.
The hotel brought in a resort fee not sure why nothing was never explained as to why nor was it advertised on the b.a website when booked . Some of the buffet staff have attitude & can be quite rude, I was picked on for my mask that was on my face for 5 days by the same staff member serving the same cooked breakfast ,my group witness an occasion where she reprimanded another member & directed her stare back at me & no one else in the group again for a mask issue & again mine was clearly on my face as before. Breakfast the same everyday where’s the local style breakfast?or some baked beans being served. You order toast breakfast is cold by the time they cook it for you
For being COVID secure hotel what happened to cleaning of the games that are static? Never saw this? For a 2 week stay you now have to request for a room clean & give 24 hours notice, & forever requesting clean towels, this does really need looking at you request this & you either have no towels or a room clean & they then remove the clean towels you’ve just asked for
We arrived on a Thursday evening Friday lunch time buffet restaurant was open but serves the same as the snack bar, this is pointless, your request is men wear trousers to evening dinner in the restaurant however Friday night guests were wearing swimwear in the buffet restaurant & boobs were hanging out all over the place then the same swimwear worn on the chairs outside the evening bar which were wet & the same swimwear worn in the night club.
Over the weekends the hotel allow for the locals to use the hotel only a day pass, well this was an eyeful to witness at the pool, cigars & shisha being smoked & dumped on the floor when there are allocated smoking areas, then most of the chairs around the pool taken & the raunchy dancing that was just everywhere didn’t know where to look. The bar area heaving & no masks being worn, shots being ordered & not drunk being poured onto the floor around the pool. Then some evening pass must also be allowed as then you go to your room & the corridors stink of drugs, lots of noise & commotion goes on until the early hours. We were nicked name London style at the bar as we felt the drinks poured were to strong we found this funny.
The hotel also has building works going next door not advised on the website can hear it all sunbathing. We had to eat out as everything was repetitive & the same, how is this a holiday, we did 14 nights & felt the money we paid was a rip off.
Yes I did bring this to TC attention as we had witness enough of the goings on, I was embarrassed to my friends that this went on, this never went on in my visit before.
We received an upgrade of a room for the last 3 days of our holiday, then the day before check out we were then advised we would receive our resort fee back, personally we should have received a reduction in price for our holiday TC kinda washed his hands off us never followed up on anything else with us after offering an upgrade.

I could go on & list more for my rating but I think you all get the jist this is not a 4 star hotel right now. It really needs fixing

Had a mini girls trip couple months ago and turned out to be one of the best experience I ever had compared to all hotels Id been too. The wonderful service from the gentlemen that greeted me outside to the doorbell man (I believe “Star”)help us with our luggage. Than there was Akeem one of the bar/pool server made sure my cups was never empty. He was fast and provided top notch service. The Italian restaurant and seafood Grill/ Bar had great food and service as well. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Warwick for the splendid time, see you soon.

James and Peter in the activities made it an awesome stay for us whenever we were chilling poolside. Bingo, volleyball, trivia, balloon toss, and much more was available everyday. We got excellent service from concierge and front desk whenever we needed anything. Everything we needed for a 7 day stay, we found here at the hotel. Anything I didn’t bring I was able to pickup from store here onsite.

There is so much I could list wrong with resort rude staff the guy who run the fruit and bread station . Sewage smell from bathroom over run with locals at the weekends long queues for drinks at the weekends . During the week only one restaurant open so long delays in being served in restaurants due short of staff . All inclusive resort but had to eat out due to eating the same food all the time from the one restaurant only being open . Building work being done next door so they turn music up to drown out the work being down . Total boredom in the evenings . Problems with lifts people getting stuck on a regularly basis my daughter got stuff in lift for 10 minutes she suffers from anxiety and panic attack she was distraught by this . Resort did give her free upgrade . Still waiting for resort fee for her as all facilities was not open . Still waiting for management Benjamin to sort out. You also smell cannabis and hear loud noises of people having sex Many at the weekend .DO NOT STAY HERE . however the only positive was that was the daytime entertainment staff like Zoe and Peter was very good as well the daytime bar men like Jamal and team.
MID 20s COUPLE REVIEW, FIND A BETTER PLACE

This review is coming from a young couple in their mid 20s. This place is far from a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. Food was horrible, very small selection I would assume due to covid protocols. Had dinner reservations for Edgewater Grill outside, which was then cancelled same day “due to weather” weather was fine all day & night. We were then moved inside, which was jam packed and only 1 server for the whole room. The reservation was pure chaos, took about 15-20 min to just get a drink, people were leaving the restaurant to order drinks from the bar. After the server brought out our appetizers before our drinks, with (no plates, silverware or bread on the table) we got up & left because the service was so awful. Tons of locals on the weekends, only “1” bar outside which is packed out on weekends with 1 bartender, long wait time for drinks. One main pool also which needs a ton of cleaning, don’t be fooled by the pictures of that or the man made beach they have at the resort. I wouldn’t even consider this an all inclusive hotel by any means. We had more fun outside of the resort, barley spent anytime there. Entertainment is boring, same thing every single night nothing exciting. I wouldn’t recommend anyone young or old to go here what so ever. Spend the extra money & stay somewhere else like the RIU or ATLANTIS.
