Clean, comfortable and close

jiwasyk (Malvern, Ohio) on Feb 24, 2026

My family of 7 booked 2 rooms for 5 nights here. We went to Disneyland parks so we were very happy with how close this hotel was. On one very rainy day, we needed a few extra towels. Within 15 minutes a large stack was brought to our room. Customer service was incredible. Even though it was chilly out, we even enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub! I would stay here again!

Not spectacular or memorable but great location and price

AndreaMSU (Clermont, Florida) on Feb 01, 2026

Great location. Able to walk to parks quickly in the morning to start our day. Rooms were fine and basic. The room was clean enough. Would stay again just for the proximity to the parks. We got a grocery delivery to deliver some breakfast muffins and drinks for us in the mornings so we could get to the park quickly. If I were to stay again I would ask for a room that is not against the elevators. Constant noise.

Marriott Near Disneyland: Easy Walk to the Park

roman4soccer (Arizona) on Jan 18, 2026

From the moment we arrived, this Marriott made our Disneyland trip simple and stress free. The hotel is a short, easy walk across Harbor Boulevard, so we parked once and did not use the car again until checkout two days later. Valet and self-parking were well organized, and the staff managed the busy Christmas week crowd with calm efficiency. The building has a mid-century modern look and is well kept. Our room was clean and comfortable. I upgraded to a Disney theme room. It was cheerful and practical, though not as over the top as I had hoped. Housekeeping kept everything tidy, and the bed was a welcome place to rest after long park days. We did not eat in the hotel, but there are plenty of nearby options. Panera Bread is next door and McDonald’s is close by. A short walk brings you to several restaurants serving Mexican and Italian food. That was handy because we could not get reservations at the restaurants in Downtown Disney or inside the parks. Inside the hotel there is an independent shop with a good selection of Disney merchandise at lower prices than the park. That was a great find for souvenirs. Security was visible in the parking areas, which made us feel safe when walking to and from Harbor Blvd. The staff were professional and kept operations running smoothly. For travelers who prefer Marriott and want the easiest access to Disneyland, this hotel is a solid choice. It delivers convenience, consistent service, and a location that makes visiting the park much less stressful. Overall, our stay was convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable. The location is the main draw, and that convenience turned a busy holiday visit into a relaxed and memorable trip.

Great Stay!

motryam (Falls Church, Virginia) on Jan 18, 2026

Hubby and I recently stayed at this Fairfield location? recently while visiting Disneyland. The check-in process was straightforward and our room was ready on time. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. We only had our rental car for a few days and not being charged the parking fee for the whole stay wasn’t a problem. The location of our room was great, with the room facing ?D?L. We saw the DL fireworks but from an awkward angle. The room itself was small but adequate. The shower pressure was actually ?q?uite good, especially for California. It’s a 10 minute walk to DL security, so coming back mid-day for naps was convenient. There’s also a Panera near the parking lot of the hotel, which was great for early morning breakfasts before hitting the park. The beds were really comfortable, more comfortable than other Fairfield beds that we’ve slept on. We would definitely stay here again!

Surprisingly Garbage

This_r_serious (Wichita, Kansas) on Jan 17, 2026

I will start this off by stating that I am a Marriott elite and should be treated better than the average persona staying here. The reason I picked this hotel is because I got a good rate, and it appeared to be close to Disneyland. When doing research before booking, the most reliable description that I got of the property is "reliably mediocre." That seems to have been an overstatement. The hotel looks close on the map, but is actually set far back from the street. If you want to stay on a sidewalk as you make your way out to Harbor, you have to walk past the Panera entrance. Most folks seemed to choose to walk in the driveway if it was unoccupied. I did not get early check in. They didn't even offer it for a fee. They were going to give me a welcome gift when I arrived, but, as I didn't have a room to put it in, that wasn't going to be very useful to me. I was directed to a location to have my bags stored, but no one appeared to help me. I eventually got the attention of a security guy who called in someone. I came back after spending the day in the parks to get a room. I was assigned a low floor even though I had requested a high floor. Doors open to the outside, motel style. The air conditioning units dump water onto the walkways, which can make them slippery. My room faced the street. There was a lot of noise from the parking lot below, trash trucks early in the morning, and the fireworks. The fireworks were very loud. Like room-shaking loud. The ceiling speaker had been painted over. The painters had apparently been too lazy to remove and then reinstall the cover. There was masking tape stuck on it, which had clearly not masked anything off. There was some bizarre art in room. One piece included a picture of the Mad Tea Party (teacups) at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Another showed a ferris wheel that looks similar to, but definitely is not the Pixar Pal Around at California Adventure, with fireworks. There are no fireworks at California Adventure. The floor was dirty. As far as I can tell, it was never properly cleaned during my entire stay. The bedding was stained. One of the hand towels that was initially in the room was stained. Later was left a new bath towel that shed lint everywhere, as if it had never been washed. I spent the rest of my trip picking bright white lint off of my clothing and stuff. The shower had a cloth curtain prone to leaking. This was compounded by not being wide enough. Despite efforts, I always ended up with water on the floor. Housekeeping would rearrange my personal items for no apparent reason. They also always left the window shades fully open, allowing anyone to see into my room. And I never got that welcome gift. Clearly, this hotel is skating by on their address. And not even that is not being honest with the customer. I have stayed at a number of hotels near Disneyland, and this one is clearly near the bottom. I will not stay here again, and I would suggest that everyone else look elsewhere for a decent stay.
