The Big Blue Pool is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment from January 11, 2021 through early April 2021. During this time, other pool and recreation offerings will remain open-including Flippin' Fins Pool, Cozy Cone Pool and the Schoolyard Sprayground. Noise may be heard while this work is being completed, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.

Park attendance will be managed through a new park reservation system. To enter a park on a given day, both a park reservation for that day and a ticket valid for park admission on that day are required. After purchasing a ticket, the guest should visit www.StartYourDisneyExperience.com to create a profile (if you do not already have a profile), and, using the confirmation number that WestJet Vacations will provide, link the ticket to the profile and then make park reservations.

Overview
This Disney Value Resort allows you to feel like a character in your favourite Disney and Disney•Pixar stories. In addition to Standard Rooms, Family Suites offer the room families need to spread out in comfort. With four playful courtyards and animation-inspired décor, Guests will be surrounded by magic like never before. The Resort hotel draws its inspiration from four classic Disney Animated films: Finding Nemo (Family Suites), Cars (Family Suites), The Lion King (Family Suites), and The Little Mermaid (Standard Rooms).

Spacious room, skyliner is convenient, staff is friendly

We didn't mind that this was a value resort, we chose this resort for the spacious layout, which included a separate bed for each of our kids and their own bathroom. Nemo buildings are the best in terms of location, adjacent to both the lobby, restaurant and skyliner. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially Liz at the front desk. She shared all kinds of helpful tips regarding the theme parks. The housekeeping staff all smiled and said hello when passing them in the hallway, which was a marked difference from the hotel we had come from for a volleyball tournament, all of those housekeepers seemed miserable. I understand the every other day cleaning for a value resort and we really don't need a cleaning every day, but we wish that the beds could have at least been made so that you feel like you're coming back to a refreshed room after a long day. No the housekeeper's fault, it must be a policy of the hotel. Restaurant had good options, but would be nice if the items changed a little each day.

Enjoyed our 4 days ar Art of Animation. Really wished there was carpeting in the guest rooms (Lion King Family Suite), loved having 2 bathrooms, lots of walking bring comfortable shoes. Most of the staff very friendly and helpful, MacKenzie at check out was not friendly and almost rude when i asked for a printed copy of my bill for all 4 of my rooms, which was shocking in comparison to everyone else. We had a minor billing error that was fixed very quickly. This is a fun family friendly resort.
