Retrieve your vacation itinerary e-docs or cancel your booking using the Find your vacation tool below. To select your seats or prepay for baggage, head to Manage Trips section.
Please note you will need to contact WestJet Vacations if you have started your journey and are on your way or have arrived at your vacation destination.
To locate your vacation booking, please have the following ready:
- Seven-digit booking number (e.g., ‘1234567’ located in the confirmation email)
- Departure date
- Last name

Flights Impacted by a Travel Advisory
If you cancel your vacation during a travel advisory where a flexible change/cancel policy has been announced:
- The air portion will be returned to original form of payment
- The land portion will be returned as a WestJet Future Travel Credit (less a $200 hotel penalty per person) with a two-year expiry date from the date of cancellation. Please allow 30 days for credits to be processed.
Please note when you cancel online you will receive a message that indicates the cancellation is a full loss of funds, however, the funds will be returned as outlined above.
If you booked through a Travel Agent (online or directly), Corporate Travel arranger, or another airline, please contact them directly.
If you booked directly with WestJet, please contact us to change your booking.
Select your seat and prepay for bags
- Pre-select your seat to ensure you get the seat you want, including Standard, preferred and Exit Row seats.
- Once you’ve selected a seat, remember to print a copy of your receipt.
- If you are checking bags prepay for them now as checked bag fees will increase by $10 at time of check-in.
Cancel my WestJet Vacations Booking
Easily cancel your booking using the "Find my vacation" tool above. If you booked your vacation through a travel agent, you may be eligible to cancel your trip online or contact your travel agent directly.
Cancellation Terms and Conditions: Due to system limitations, there are scenarios where cancellation fees will display; however, they may be waived when the refund is processed in the below
- Cancellations made within the first 24 hours after making a booking.
- Cancellations made more than 45 days before departure and the booking includes a Premium or Business cabin flight segment.
- The Travel Protection Plan was purchased, the booking is eligible for a partial refund to original form of payment or Future Travel Credit.
- WestJet has enacted a travel advisory that is applicable to your itinerary.
Once the cancellation is submitted online, it may take up to 30 days to process a credit, if applicable.
Vacations with travel protection plan
Mexico and Caribbean destinations, cancel your booking within:
- 21+ days before departure for a full refund* to original form of payment.
- 20-3 days before departure for a full refund* as WestJet Future Travel Credit.
- 2-0 days before departure for a 100% cancellation fee/full forfeit is applicable.
Canada and USA destinations, cancel your booking within:
- 21+ days before departure for a full refund* to original form of payment.
- 20-7 days before departure: for a full refund* as WestJet Future Travel Credit.
- 6-0 days before departure: for a 100% cancellation fee/full forfeit is applicable.
* means the purchase price of the Travel Protection Plan is non-refundable.
