No thanks.....

First I will start with the positive. Check in was easy, the bar tenders were awesome, pools were nice, and the food at the pools were good. The bad...we had plumbing issues immediately and a couple of minor things broken in our room (we stayed in a family suite). Maintenace came and fixed the minor things. The shower did not drain properly which left us in over ankle-deep water and nastiness would come out of the drain. It was so bad that on the last night I bathed outside the shower with a bath cloth and sink. It didn't drain for 2 days!!! We let them know daily. After checking out I received a text thanking me for my stay. I told them AGAIN and the response was "thank you for letting us know so we can have this fixed for the next guest." Seriously?? Our couch had a massive stain on it. I placed sheets over it because I did not want to sit on it. Sadly, I will never stay here again nor recommend it to my clients.

Absolutely love it

Just back from our 4th stay at Cabana Bay and still absolutely love it! It's a great location for getting on and off the I4 and so easy to get to Volcano Bay. Easy access to the parks too either on foot or via regular shuttles. Love the amenities in the hotel too. The food is great from the diner and the shakes are the best we've had! Staff are always friendly in the bars and check in desks and always had great service from the vacation planning desk in the reception to help with our park tickets. This hotel always gives us everything we need for a fantastic stay in universal Orlando resort! Can't wait to stay again

"You had one job."

I'm just the travel agent who booked this trip, I didn't stay, but this affects my clients too. They were never given their client gift I sent them the first THREE days of their stay (luckily I checked with the clients on if they got anything from me, but you hate to do that!). The florist, which was overall good, said it would be delivered to their room and they do it all the time. They sent me many notifications that it made it to the hotel and early. After checking with the florist first, I called Cabana Bay who said 'oh yeah, it's at the front desk.' They said that they think only the more expensive Universal hotels do room delivery. OKAY, BUT why were they not told it was there (and when they checked in...even a low level hotel does that well), and next, or a phone message left for their room?! And it was the 3rd day of their stay when they were finally told by me and retrieved it (at the end of the night), and it was perishable!!

Best Hotel for Volcano Bay

I had a Universal pass and we wanted to go to Volcano Bay. That required a one night stay. We chose Cabana Bay because it was a walking path into the park an hour early. The room was clean and comfortable. If you're going to Volcano Bay, this is definitely the place you want to stay.

Wow! This place was amazing! Such magical experience! Facilities were spotless. Room was spacious. Pool was incredible! Can't say enough about this place. We'll never stay anywhere else! Food is to die for! The entire family loved it! Stay here....you won't regret it!
