The entire experience was wonderful. To our surprise when we got to the room, we were upgraded to a family suite! The front desk was so friendly! The beds were very comfortable. We have stayed here 5+ times and it seems like they just got new beds/pillows! We stayed at Hard Rock this trip and Cabana Bay's beds were significantly better than Hard Rock's. Super clean rooms, fun atmosphere, and having the ability to walk to the parks is one of our favorite things!

I came with my two sons during a rough time at home. Kate greeted us with the biggest most contagious smile. She was warm and helpful and had no idea I was sad. When giving us our key she smiled and said we were upgraded to a suite with a pool view. What a blessing! We had the absolute best time. Shout out for my girl Kate and Cabana Bay

The best food is cafeteria style and the quality is significantly lower than the two hospitals my family uses. It is very efficient for large groups and it’s fine if you don’t much care about the quality of the food, so it’s perfect for big groups of kids. If you’re a grown up who likes a relaxing atmosphere, table service, and healthy food you would have positive memories of, this is not the place. Also it is a hotel and my room was not serviced at all, even though it was vacant all day. And, to find my kid’s room (in a school group), I walked 2800 steps. Good for exercise but ridiculous. I have a great sense of direction and also had to ask for directions twice. Knowing how complicated it is to navigate, one person offered to walk me halfway to where I was headed.

We went back at the beginning of May 2025. We had such an amazing time. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable after being on our feet all day. We really enjoyed the pools especially the lazy river that was definitely my 9 year old son’s favorite spot. The staff was wonderful everyone from the front desk staff to the security staff and the personnel in both the Bayliner diner and the Malt shop which we also enjoyed. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy a movie by the pool because it decided to rain every night but that’s Florida for ya lol. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again and multiple times through the future. You have guests for life. Keep up the great work. I highly recommend Cabana Bay Beach Resort to anyone.

We recently stayed at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our first room was extremely far from everything and had several issues. The couch had stains, there was no hot water, and the shower was literally coming apart. After reporting the problems, we were moved to another room, but that one had issues as well. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and when my son got out of the shower he immediately said the towel smelled awful. When I checked, several towels smelled like vomit. We also encountered multiple bugs in the room that we had to kill ourselves. The pool experience was frustrating too. There are so many rules that it made it difficult to relax. Lifeguards were constantly blowing whistles at guests for things like kids having small balls in the pool or adults having a cocktail while in the water. It felt excessive and took away from the fun atmosphere you expect on vacation. For the amount of money we spent, the stay was extremely disappointing. At this price point, basic cleanliness, working amenities, and a comfortable environment should be expected. Honestly, you might as well save your money and stay at a motel for the same experience.
