Disappointing

Just arrived and pretty disappointing so far… poor welcome, no one to show us where room was so we walked around looking for ages, no shuttle service in sight… let’s see how the next two weeks go ??
Not the one that looks like the California Hotel del Coronado, that's the Grand Floridian

The Villages area looks like the fanciest La Quinta you've ever seen, and the Gran Destino Tower looks sort of like a Vegas casino designed by Salvador Dalí. The Dig Site pool with its faux-Mayan pyramid was the highlight of this resort, as my daughter loves an epic pool. The rooftop restaurants, Dahlia and Toledo, really make this 'moderate' resort feel almost Deluxe. Also, the Barcelona Lounge is how Starbucks would be if it were in Spain and could serve liquor and upscale pastries. It's a bus-only resort—no fancy monorails, Skyliners, etc.—which we didn't care about because we sleep late on vacation and never rush around with a checklist trying to do everything.
Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic two week stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs. Our room was very clean and spacious. We were staying in Ranchos which was a 2 minute walk away from bus stop 3 which made getting to the parks so easy. I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel. We have been to Disney many times but Coronado might just now top my list and I hope to be back in the future.
Great facilities and beautiful setting

A return visit to this hotel and this stay was as good as the last. There are a variety of rooms available in both the tower and in areas around the lake. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and good room service. There are restaurants, quick service cafeteria, bars and a shop in the main area. The lake is beautiful to walk around and we spotted all sorts of wildlife. Good bus service to the parks and Disney Springs with 4 stops around the grounds. Would recommend staying here and we’d happily return.
Worst worst worst

First of, getting someone is hard after 10pm. Two of the laundry locations was down. No comp, or add services from front desk. Stayed at the ranch location and had to walk, service told us “it not a bad walk”, “its only a 5 minute walk”, in the middle of the night with 2 1/2 bags full of dirty clothes and kids. Timed it ourselves, more like 10 minutes. Met a couple who also stayed there at the broken location. I saw them looking for the laundry location where I was at because the one at their location was also shut down. So they continued on looking for a location that work. Which also where I ended up going to. What’s funny is the sign state rancho pool will be open for service, that was the sign was located there. Also, the hot water didn’t last long or hold. I decided to shower after laundry was done. Started around 11pm, walking back and forth in humid conditions I waited to shower afterwards, there was no hot water at 130am when everything was finished. Out of the many resort here, this has been the worst.
