Color me SURPRISED!

Michelle T (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) on May 07, 2024

When I think of Drury Hotel, I used to think of this properties with a bad connotation. But this property has single-handedly changed my mind. This property was beautiful. The staff was amazing and accomodating. The daily breakfast that is included, made the value that much better. I would gladly stay there again.

Nice Hotel But won't go back due to big groups of cheerleaders staying!!

Pepsi124 (Portsmouth, United Kingdom) on May 05, 2024

We are 2 adults in our 50’s and love Florida! First time traveling minus teenagers/grandparents ect. In the past we have stayed on site at Disney/Universal/ had a villa. We chose this hotel due to the reviews and the fact it was a Disney neighbour hotel had transport to the parks ect. Disney hotels have become so expensive too! Hotel itself is lovely very quickly check in and we were not happy with the room offered as it was floor 5 facing the front which is the car park. Went down to reception who very kindly moved us to a 15 floor room over looking the pool. We were staying for 15 nights and didn’t fancy a room with no view and noise of the carpark. Room was cleaned daily sometimes late after a phone call asking for room to be serviced around 5pm. Other days was done without a phone call. Breakfast is nice enough as its free. Can’t comment on the evening kickback as we didn’t use it. Only popped I to refill our water bottles. Was always really busy and noisy like a school canteen. BUT staff were friendly and helpful. Would we stay in this hotel again? NO.. WE really wanted to love this hotel after reading the reviews. Reason being the pool area has NO sunshades at all. Never anywhere were there has been no umbrellas /shade. Such a shame as on our 2 days of rest we went to a water park when we would pf preferred to stay on site. Next reason we wouldn’t stay is the hotel again is as it seems to take these HUGE groups bookings and OMG to share our hotel with coach loads of cheering leading kids/sibling/Parents is hell on earth! Thursday- Mondays were the worse both weeks we were here. Screaming kids very hyped and you struggle to get In out lifts/reception area is madness. Why doesn’t hotel don’t warn you before? We would of moved had we been given the option!! I did ask reception staff one morning how long these competitions were on for guy laughed and said mid May! Buses to from the parks worked amazing well, over all we had an amazing holiday just would have been nice to off had shade around the pool and no share our holiday with cheerleading families!

Average hotel

Shirley S on May 05, 2024

The Drury at Disney Springs is an average hotel. I did find that the bed and the pillows were a little hard and i wasn't able to adjust to this. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfast and the 530 kickback could be improved. Few options were offered not like the pictures advertised. The parking fee of $25 per day seemed unnecessary. The employees were friendly. I would probably not stay here again in the future.

Great Hotel

Lucia H (College Grove, Tennessee) on May 01, 2024

Our room was very comfortable and the terrace was great. We had coffee outside every morning. It was also very convenient to all things Disney! The staff was super friendly from the front desk to the poolside bar.it was a great experience at a fabulous price.

Great hotel and lots of freebies

planthemagic (Rochester, New York) on May 01, 2024

Really recommend this hotel. My sisters and I went for a girls' weekend and chose this for the nice pool area with a bar. But this would work fabulously for a Disney trip as well (I've done a lot of those too). The breakfast is awesome (only negative - no made to order omlettes like some hotels) - lots of options though - eggs, sausage, potatoes, bisquits, gravy, pancakes, make your own mickey waffles. The soda, juice and coffee area is open all day. The happy hour drinks and service are an awesome bonus. And the dinner each night is usable. Not awesome - if you're a foodie you won't want to do more than have a snack there - but if you have kids and don't want to bother eating anywhere else after a tiring day at the parks - you and the kids will likely find something that will fill you. For a family of 4 I imagine the 'freebies' saving you $150 - $200 a day! Pool area was great - Hot tub is very warm - I wish it was adult only though. Service by everyone was outstanding! Walking distance (11 minutes) to Disney Springs. Walking distance to a couple restaurants/bars out on the main road about 8 - 10 minutes.
