We spent a week here and just loved this resort. Previously we'd found Disney properties to charge Four Seasons prices but deliver Doubletree standards but the Yacht Club really stood out Staff are perfect and so helpful. Zachary from Jacksonville on reception always sorted our needs. Housekeeping worked wonders every day I would recommend the waterview upgrade. We spent hours on the balcony watching the lighthouse and boats . The Marketplace was fabulous for a quick snack or breakfast parfait on the balcony. The resort mug was used a lot for morning coffee, water sodas and post park relaxing teas. The pool complex is the best in Disney. So many loungers and seats, tubes for the lazy river, swimming areas and a kids zero entry sandy pool. Tonnes of lifeguards so really safe. Just lovely with a quiet adults pool for reading in peace if you prefer This place felt grown up and peaceful . The Beach Club next door felt more oriented to kids. We had no corridor nor construction noise. The room fridge worked perfectly for drinks and breakfast items. Hurricane Hannas delivered great poolside food and drinks. Our room was large and newly refurbished with loads of storage , a great bathroom and comfy beds. Personally I prefer one King with a sofa for tv but American hotels seem to offer two Queens as standard. Good for sharing with kids I guess The large flat screen TV had everything with Disney channels and films then loads of sports for the big kids ! As for location, unbeatable. A 5 min walk into Epcot by the UK /France for early or late entry, boats on the pier for the studios and the wonderful cable cars. We walked through Epcot for the Monorail to Magic Kingdom and even got a handy bus to Animal Kingdom right outside the front porch. If you're staying on property you don't need a car here but we enjoyed the free parking to use it for outlet mall shopping and the Disney Village restaurants Highly recommend, we will have to return next year

Had a really nice short stay at the resort. We generally stay across the pond at Boardwalk but wanted to try it out. Hotel is easy to navigate and can be busy with the convention center. Front desk, gift shop, eatery was well staffed and easy. The Ale and Compass lounge was g e at break from the heat. Didn't eat on site bit have before at both restaurants. Did not use the pool. We did get one of the few king rooms, that was a nice surprise but our view was a roof and building walls. Oh well. Can't be perfect all the time. We'd return.

Had the best time here at yacht club , This was our 3rd stay here over the last 4 years and each time has been the most magical than the previous visit , unfortunately this was our final trip with our 80 year old mum , Big thankyou to Omar at the front desk his little touch made our last experience the best ever , Thankyou Omar. The hotel is always clean , within walking distance to epcot , great transportation to the other parks and close enough to walk round the boardwalk , the quick service has also picked up the pace over the years (the menu could do with a change tho) and we just love everything about it , The rooms and communal areas are well looked after despite the bits of building work going on , and the staff are always friendly , we ate in the ale and compass a few times and were sad to see the buffet breakfast was no longer , Luckily the beach clubs was still running (with character's) We also ate in beaches and cream and couldn't fault this either , We cant say a bad word about this hotel.

We went for a family vacation. The hotel was under construction but that wasn't an issue. The rooms were spacious but not as clean as previous years. The regular beds were fine but the daybed was extremely uncomfortable, the nightly noise form the carts going back and forth on the pier echoing off the water and the inconvenience of the conference people both setting up and walking throughout the hotel was an issue. Many were rude and felt they were more important than you were. We enjoyed the proximity to Epcot and could walk or take the boat, the bus was irregular and often the times weren't posted. We found the bus to have greater wait times than previous years. After we ate at Disney Springs, a family member became extremely ill with food positioning putting a halt to park use. Although this is a deluxe hotel it does not present itself as one. The restaurants are overprice, with average food and long wait times. Most staff are not knowledgeable, unhelpful or don't care. They hide behind the "sorry I don't know" or the "you'll have to talk to a supervisor" but there was never one around. Disney has declined significantly in the past few years and this is just another example of this. They may be renovating the properties but they need to work on their staff and policies. Our family was a devoted Disney Vacation group but no longer. We've decided to go elsewhere, somewhere that we our vacation time and money means something.

My favorite Disney resort! This hotel is beautiful. I love the upscale nautical decor. It has plenty of restaurants to choose from and it’s close to Epcot. The highlight of the hotel is the amazing pool. I highly recommend staying at the yacht club.
