Good Disney Experience.

Disney Great. The employees are what makes the stay so enjoyable. It goes without saying that the price you pay is going to be high. And that is for room, food and other items. My wife liked the shower and tub combination. Room lacked a microwave, but it had the normal items: ironing board, safe, lots of hangers, hair dryer, coat hooks, lots of drawer space, small refrigerator. The TV had all of the Disney channels and included CBS and NBC. One item of interest. There is no grab bar inside the shower. There is a bar outside near the toilet but none inside the shower. It someone slips in the shower this could come up in the discussions. Just a thought to be considered.
Not as Ship Shape as One Would Hope

Disney's Deluxe Resorts of a certain era (Beach, Yacht, Boardwalk) share a great location, but have not been refurbished in a way that feels like much of an upgrade. The Yacht Club has very few amenities in comparison to newer Deluxe properties, or even Wilderness Lodge -- I ended up getting in very late, and the vending machines were tucked far, far away from the lobby or elevators, in a dingy laundry room (more on that later). The rooms have been soft refurbished, but the bathrooms are tiny and the bath tub, with its awkward sliding door and metal track must make trying to bathe a child a logistical nightmare. I really wish they'd just gone the Wilderness Lodge route and created walk in showers. The walls are thinner than one might want, and the noise in the connecting rooms means that it's sort of like having a vacation with someone else's family. These soundproofing issues have been largely eliminated in newer properties such as the Riviera and the moderate Gran Destino Tower. The resort shop and quick service are tiny, and while one can of course go to the Beach Club or walk over to the Boardwalk, one would think that in a resort where guests cannot be trusted with a mini fridge or a microwave in their room (standard in most normal non-Disney hotels), they would prioritize having a lot of selection in the quick service.
Avoid!!!!

The most overrated resort I have ever been!! Front desk staff absolutely horrendous, so unfriendly! So aloof! Compass restaurant front desk staff equally horrible! I guess they just don’t care. Disney doesn't care . Our balcony view was rubbish, see below! Actual rubbish and workers equipment. Food sub par. Pool ‘guard’ acted like a stormtrooper! Questioned every time! Who are you? Name? Etc . Just terrible. Way overpriced! Delusions of grandeur and employees that treat you like a prisoner in your own resort!
A Delightful First Stay — Yacht Club Club Level Exceeded Expectations

My husband and I stayed at the Walt Disney World Yacht Club Resort in late September 2025 for five nights, Club Level, and it was our first time staying at this resort. We typically stay at the monorail resorts, but for this trip—an adults-only getaway while we left the kids at home—we wanted to try something different and spend several relaxed days enjoying EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival. Going in, we honestly expected it would be hard to top the Club Level experience we had earlier this summer at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where the cast members truly set the bar exceptionally high. We were so pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the Yacht Club. From start to finish, it was a charming, delightful stay, made truly special by exceptional cast members who genuinely cared and made every interaction memorable. The warmth, sincerity, kindness, and respect shown throughout the resort were outstanding. We could not have been more pleased with any aspect of our first Yacht Club stay. The Club Level experience exceeded our expectations. The food offerings were fantastic—both in quality and variety—and the service from the Club Level cast was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. While the lounge itself is smaller than some other Club Level lounges we’ve experienced on Disney property, it works beautifully. We never had trouble finding a table, and food was always plentiful, fresh, and well prepared. We especially enjoyed the small outdoor deck and terrace, which allowed for relaxed outdoor dining and was a great place to unwind. Mousekeeping was excellent and took wonderful care of our room throughout the stay. You can truly tell that each cast member takes pride in their role. From the moment you walk into the lobby and are warmly greeted, to every interaction across the resort, this was a 10/10 Disney experience for us. The resort grounds are perfectly maintained. Everything felt clean, fresh, and beautiful, and the upscale coastal theme is carried through thoughtfully and consistently. Our water-view room was spacious, with a fantastic view, good storage, and a warm, inviting feel. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable and contributed to a very restful stay. The location of the Yacht Club deserves every bit of praise it gets. We found it incredibly convenient—about a 5–6 minute walk to EPCOT’s International Gateway and an easy 15-minute walk to Hollywood Studios. Bus service to Magic Kingdom worked well, and for Animal Kingdom we opted for a quick $6 Uber after just missing a bus, which felt well worth it rather than waiting another 20 minutes. One final note: we were so impressed with our stay that we’ve already rebooked a second visit to the Yacht Club. On our upcoming trip, we’ll be bringing our two daughters, and we can’t wait for them to experience Disney in a new way at such a high-quality resort. It’s clear that the resort’s leadership sets a strong, positive example and guides cast members to take genuine pride in their work. The sincere, thoughtful, and kind interactions we experienced throughout our stay reflect that direction from the top. Often it’s the smallest gestures that make the biggest difference, and the Yacht Club excels at that. We’re truly thankful for our first experience and very much looking forward to our return.
Amazing Disney trip

Disney’s Yacht Club is an absolutely beautiful property that truly captures the charming feel of New England. The atmosphere is elegant, peaceful, and relaxing—perfect for families looking for a calm, coastal-inspired escape right on Disney property. One of our favorite parts is that the resort is pet friendly, which makes it so easy for families to bring their furry companions along. The location is unbeatable: just a few minutes’ walk to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which adds so much convenience to your stay. Our room was super clean, comfortable, and definitely delivered that signature Disney magical feeling. The only thing we found a bit annoying was the daily room checks, but we understand it’s part of Disney’s policy and it didn’t take away too much from our overall experience. I will say the Yacht Club feels geared more toward adults and older families. If you have younger children who love bright colors and a more playful atmosphere, I would recommend staying next door at the Beach Club. But if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful resort where your pets can join you on a family vacation, the Yacht Club is truly amazing.
