Wonderful pre-cruise stay with kids!

477marissaj (Buffalo, New York) on Apr 18, 2024

This hotel was so wonderful! The manager Veronica and the housekeeping manager Huberta added some special magic to our room for my kids first cruise! Balloons, towel animals and a few little surprises! They loved it all! The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Definitely recommend! Thank you!

Magical Experience

Alisha L on Apr 06, 2024

This hotel was absolutely amazing! They surprised my daughter with balloons, chocolates, swan towels, a princess wand and the sweetest card from housekeeping! They went above and beyond to bring us the magic of Disney! They always had fresh fruit infused water at the front and the staff was so kind and accommodating! It was the absolute best experience and we will for sure go back!

Above Expectations

N7083WRjamess (Chattanooga, Tennessee) on Apr 03, 2024

Here is what I liked about this hotel: Great attitude among staff, helpful. This great attitude was from each member of staff. General manager Natalie was very helpful as well as Elizabeth. Front desk associates were great Briana, Jennifer, Gabrielle, Gretel. I travel above average and was fortunate to find this gem. Thank you to the whole staff for your work.

BEWARE DANGEROUS SHUTTLE BUS

B1938AKsandrap (Seattle) on Mar 05, 2024

IF YOU ARE CHOOSING THIS HOTEL TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE DISNEY SHUTTLE beware. The bus service provided is in my opinion dangerous. It has posted safety rules but none are enforced. The bus was overcrowded with people standing holding scalding cups of coffee easily spilled on children. Strollers were stacked where signs strictly forbid them and one did indeed fall on my foot. When I contacted the bus company they offered to refund the cost of my ride which was zero. They offered to send me to the emergency room but since my foot was not broken but only bruised and swollen I knew the advice would be to ice it , keep it elevated and stay off it. I am 77 and was spending my last ever days at Disney. I could not stand in long lines so rode nothing. I asked for compensation of my ticket. They refused and said they would do nothing. I reported it to the hotel and two managers said they agreed the bus service was at fault but they would not intervene or offer any compensation. Marriott used to be synonomous with quality but now they willingly risk our safety by using unreliable and in my opinion dangerous agents.

Don't expect much

Newsbyscott (Phoenix, Arizona) on Feb 27, 2024

To be fair I hate to say it was poor...but it wasn't average either. Stayed two night, asked for a room far from the elevator and on a top floor, put on 2nd floor with the elevator backing up to our room. I get they can't always guarantee my request but it was like they didn't even acknowledge it or even TRY. Upon arrival to lobby a man in a suit approached me and mumbled and spoke so poorly I had to ask him 2 times to repeat himself...it was something about 150$, I eventually said no thank you and proceeded to ask the receptionist who gave a vague answer of he is selling tickets. I assumed at that point it was like a timeshare presentation for tickets to Disney or cash. TURN OFF FOR ME. Also checked in at 5pm and still had to wait for the room. The room was blah but I didn't come for the decor. Also the breakfast was very lackluster, oh and did I mention that the shuttle times are awful that I can't imagine many people use them. So for the positives. ALL the staff member were extremely nice and friendly, the location was good for Disney and the price in Feb was good. Bottom line. It is a fine place if you have low expectations for Marriott, it will meet your basic needs. We ended up Ubering to and from EPCOT and paid just about 5$ more than parking ourselves...this bonus was way less walking.
