We stayed 14 nights at all star Music in a Mighty Ducks room. Around the back so really quiet. Our room was closer to music so we caught the bus from there to the parks each day, lots of room even 1st thing and last thing at night. Room was cleaner than our room at Disney’s art of Animation resort and bus transportation was good, lots of availability. Ate at Movies and would say it’s better than Music, Poole are ace as well, especially at sunset. Would recommend 100 percent

Disappointing stay – I wouldn’t return We stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort for 9 nights, from 26th September to 5th October. Having stayed in various hotels around the world, I have to say that unfortunately this is not somewhere I would choose to stay again. I completely understand that this is a budget Disney resort, and I wasn’t expecting luxury. However, I do feel that some of the basic standards were very poor. We were supposedly allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms with the Murphy bed, but unfortunately our room was not particularly clean. The shower in particular was covered in mould and grime, which was very disappointing. Housekeeping was also a major issue. We were told rooms would be serviced every second day, but in reality this seemed to consist mainly of emptying the bins and replacing towels. We had dirty bed sheets for the entire 9-night stay, despite requesting several times for them to be changed. The soundproofing was probably the biggest issue for us. I genuinely think it is some of the worst soundproofing I have experienced in a hotel. You could hear almost everything happening in neighbouring rooms, even when it was clear that the other guests were trying to keep their noise to a minimum. If you are a light sleeper, or have young children who are easily disturbed, I would definitely take this into consideration when booking. We had several disrupted nights because of the noise. The resort itself is extremely basic. The swimming pools are basic and feel quite dated, and while the food was perfectly edible, it was also very basic and repetitive. We also found that the atmosphere around the resort didn’t really have the holiday buzz we were expecting from a Disney resort. Unfortunately, we also found the overall standard of customer service disappointing. Some members of staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, but overall we felt that a number of staff appeared unhappy or came across as quite rude. Of course, this may simply have been our experience, but it did affect our overall impression of the resort. We also purchased the refillable resort mugs, which were around $24 each. Unfortunately, we had constant problems with the soda being flat. This seemed to be a common issue, as we heard several other guests complaining about the same thing during our stay. One positive was the Disney buses. This was something we had actually been worried about, particularly as we had come from Universal where we were staying within walking distance of the parks. However, the buses at All-Star Movies were much better than expected. They were frequent and, although sometimes busy, we never found them unbearable. Having experienced the Disney buses at Disneyland Paris, I actually found these to be an improvement. Overall, I’m glad we spent most of our days out at the parks and only really returned to the resort to sleep. We used the pool occasionally and again on our last day, and while it was perfectly adequate, it felt very basic and dated. For us, the Disney name and location were the main positives, but unfortunately they weren’t enough to outweigh the cleanliness, housekeeping, noise and overall standard of the resort. I personally would not return to All-Star Movies. Many other hotels in the area much better for the same value. We would return to Disney and stay at a higher level hotel, however this stay has gave me reservations about this. I believe Disney should have the same level of friendly staffing and cleanliness across all hotels - so this stay has gave me a bad impression of Disney resorts. Maybe one day I will change my mind and stay at a higher level hotel to see if it improves.

Stayed here before. Budget hotel. Great for disney experience because it has in your face disney decor. Food is average though. Rooms clean. Beds comfortable. Customer service at disney is second to none

We last visited Disney World 5 years ago and were excited to visit again. Over the last 25 years we have stayed in many of the hotels on Disney Property and choose the All Stars Movies this time as we would rather spend the money saved on family time and fun not on an upgraded room or greater resort facilities. We had 14 days at resort with park tickets. We were located in the Mighty Ducks area . Which has its own pool , laundry, and located next to the All Stars Music resort , so you are nearer to the bus stops and main restaurant facilities than those of Movies. The room was comfortable for 2 adults, large king bed , fridge, tea and coffee maker. Bath and shower. We purchased the refillable mugs at $22.00 each. This more than pays for itself in a couple of days. You can also use these at any of the WDW hotels to refill these. Amazing !! This is a large resort and can seem very busy especially at key times like early morning and at 10pm after everyone comes back from the parks. Queues to pay for food were long, and there is a clearly lack of staff at cash registers. Meaning food was often cold after paying for it. There is a plan to start to replace the drinks machines across all the resorts and this is needed as the machines seemed to have problems and didn’t always work to the full capacity. Ice was also an issue and not always available. The choice of menu was good.the quality of food has really improved . Food prices were high. But the US as a whole is very expensive when buying food and drink. Disney make everything easy for you. You can get to any of the hotels on property with ease. The four theme parks and two water parks. There is a a variety of transport options. We loved the Skyliner. We had a great time and in a few years will visit again.Disney is still an excellent vacation destination although on the expensive side.

Stayed here for two weeks with my best friend and we have no complaints. We arrived at the hotel late and exhausted from the long flight, and found check-in to be quick and easy. We were given a room in the Fantasia block with a great view of the pool and close to the amenities. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our hot stay. The room fridge and safe were both really convenient. I ran out of toiletries half way through the trip but there was everything you could need in the bathroom. The next day we had some questions about our dining plan and Morelle in reception couldn't have been more helpful. All the staff were excellent, really friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast in the food court and mobile order was really convenient for picking up food to have in our room on the evenings. The laundry facility on site was helpful, as were the showers in the toilet blocks by the pool so we could shower before our long flight home. It was also helpful that you could unlock the room door with your card or also your phone so you don't have to go rooting through your bag at the end of a busy day. Transport buses to the parks ran quickly and regularly, and anytime we had to go off site with an Uber these were no issue either. We found the resort great value for money and would definitely stay again!
