Loved staying here!

nugenthorne_79 (Hitchin, United Kingdom) on Apr 10, 2026

ast minute and so glad we did! I loved the look of all the buildings and just the general look and feel - it was spotlessly clean and well kept! We stayed in a 1 bed villa - which was a fab space! Loads of storage and great facilities - washing and tumble dryer, full kitchen! We did an Instacart shop as the main shop was very limited and quite expensive! Our room was cleaned everyday and re stocked with everything, dishwasher powder, tissues, toilet roll etc, towels! We loved getting the boat to Disney springs which was a lot quicker than getting the bus! The bus took about 30 minutes by the time you got round the resort. In the car it was 7 minutes. My Cons of this resort - it is huge and we stayed at Turtle pond - which was a good 15 minute walk to the main building for coffee and breakfast and another 15 minute walk back, so not ideal if you want to bring food and coffee back to your room, unless you have a car! We also had quite a bit of rain while we were here - they could do with providing a couple of umbrellas in the room - there could be a charge applied if you took them or an option to buy them! Disney is all about making money after all! Also, visiting other hotels we felt our food offering or perhaps lay out wasn’t as good as the others? That all being said I loved this resort and would 100% recommend and return

Always Enjoyable

Martysue (New Jersey) on Feb 22, 2026

We had a nice and relaxing stay in a one bedroom villa. The room is very spacious - especially compared to the new vacation club villas and you get a full size washer/dryer. One of the smaller pools was closed which made the Village Pool too crowed and there weren't enough seats if you arrived in the afternoon. The buses are very convenient to get to Disney Springs. We used to enjoy the boat, but now that the boats dock at the far end of Disney Springs, you need to allow for more time if you need to make a show or dinner reservation.

Noisy.

Olivia Ruth S on Feb 17, 2026

We are currently staying at Old Key West for a 4 night break. We are DVC members and stayed here beofre 15 years ago. We really enjoyed it so decided to visit again. We requested a room away from hospitality as we prefer a more peaceful holiday however we were upgraded and placed near hospitality. The room is spacious and clean - although a little tired. The biggest disappointment is the noise. We understand we are in a busy resort and expect some noise but this is the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. There us zero sound proofing. We can hear the music being played outside and the noise from the pool. We can hear people when they walk past talking. We are next to the road so the buses thunder past and horns are beeping. Worst of all is that you can hear everything the next door neighbours do. We raised a concern with front desk who told us that as it was built in 1991 there is no sound proofing. The only option is to move us to another location tomorrow but that would mean that we would be without a room for a number or hours and there is no guarantee the same wouldnt happen again - especially with studios and having ajoining rooms. Really disappointing and not feeling the disney magic. So disappointed.

Best Disney resort for DVC members

My favorite resort at Disney. DVC member. Has the largest rooms. Boat access to Disney Springs. We go at least twice a year.

Nice trip but Disney Needs to do something about the smell

Lukas C (Boston, Massachusetts) on Nov 17, 2025

We stayed here in November 2025. Overall, it was a nice resort, though the distance to the parks did get a bit annoying, especially since so many other Disney resorts are located much closer. The one issue that really stood out was the smell outside at night. Based on what I’ve read online, it seems to come from stagnant water around the grounds, and for whatever reason, it tends to be most noticeable in the evenings. With everything Disney is capable of, it’s surprising that this hasn’t been addressed yet. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and I would still recommend this resort overall.
