2nd time at this hotel. Had 2 rooms which we could join by both opening the inter-locking doors. Fridges in room which is a bonus. Boats regular and about a 15 min leisurely walk to the park if youd rather do that. Great bonus of getting in the park early. Rooms clean , staff great . Housekeeping came daily Pool was great with good facilities Only negative is $10 for a bottle of water left in room ( + 22% service charge ??)

I stayed here with my 12-year-old daughter for HHN. I requested a high floor near an elevator. The hotel was clean and orderly. I enjoyed that they had on-site food and souvenir options. Getting to the parks was a breeze using the water taxis. The man giving flowers at the entrance and baggage claim staff were especially nice! I also loved seeing Shrek in the lobby. What a treat to stay here!

This review is based on our opinion and what we as a family ( x 2 adults, x 2 teenagers, boy and girl) experienced at this resort. This also briefly touches on the Universal parks which the hotel is akin with. The main reason for staying at this hotel was the ease of entering and leaving the parks whenever we wished throughout the day and being able to enter an hour before opening times to escape the queues. We were never told by the agent, hotel or park that you are no longer allowed to enter the Unversal Studio side early, no idea why. This resulted in the queues being double the size in the one park open so no early rides completed. Charged for a benefit you’re not receiving. We found the hotel itself quite basic, bland and certainly not to a standard that demanded the price we paid. The staff were very unfriendly, fake and quite aggressive. We felt like we were being told what to do all the time in both the hotel and parks. The only nice staff were the ladies who cleaned our room on a daily basis for two weeks. The room reminded me of a cheap b and b we once stayed in when travelling through Vegas. The pool area was soulless, no holiday vibes and we had to listen to the lifeguards whistles who were constantly telling kids off for having fun. Speaking of the lifeguards, I had to speak to one in particular to tell him to top staring at my young daughter. I accept the odd glance but every time he rotated to our position he spent more time staring at her than doing his job. The hotel certainly doesn’t offer anything that demands the prices it charges, it doesn’t have the immensities, the facilities, the style or staff to pitch itself as a 4*+ establishment. Would I visit again, no, would I recommend the hotel, no, were there any positives for the price paid, no.

This hotel is beautiful. The location is amazing; you can walk to the parks! Rooms and facilities are lovely and all of the staff were wonderful. The view from our 8th floor room was fantastic...we could see so many turtles in the lagoon. We have really been spoiled because we wouldn't consider a different hotel if returning to Orlando.

I stayed here with my daughter for Halloween Horror Nights from October 11th to October 14th, 2024, and although I didn’t get a chance to leave a review at the time, I definitely wanted to come back and share our experience! We flew in at night, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was a great way to start our stay. The hotel is also pet-friendly, so if you’re a dog lover, you’ll definitely enjoy seeing all the adorable pups throughout the hotel! We stayed in a standard two-bed room, and overall, we were very comfortable. The room was nice, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. There was a damaged hook in the bathroom that appeared to have been there before our arrival, but it was a very minor issue and didn’t take away from our stay. We also had a beautiful view of the ferry from our room, which was such a nice touch. The pool area was another highlight. The pool was large, clean, and had a fun water slide that the kids loved. There was also a fire pit where you could purchase a s’mores kit from a nearby venue and roast your own marshmallows. Such a fun little activity for families and especially for the kiddos! The location was fantastic for our Halloween Horror Nights trip. One of the best features is the ferry that takes you directly from the hotel to Universal Studios. It was convenient, relaxing, and a fun way to get to the parks. If you prefer to walk and get your steps in, there’s also a walkway to Universal. Another thing I loved about the location is how easy it is to explore the surrounding hotels. You can walk to nearby resorts to check out their restaurants and other amenities. There are also several dining options right inside the hotel, including a convenient grab-and-go location. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The friendly staff, clean facilities, great pool, convenient transportation, and fantastic location made this hotel a great choice for our trip. It was especially convenient for Halloween Horror Nights and visiting Universal Studios. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families, Universal visitors, and anyone looking for a fun, convenient, and welcoming place to stay! ?????
