Great Hotel All around

Brand new hotel completed its construction in recent years. Everything was in top shape. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Fantastic water pressure, but shower temp sometimes fluctuates. The only down side were the over soft pillow and mattress. Prefect hotel for EV owners, with 8 charging available (4x J1772 and 4x Tesla Destination).

Disappointing Room

I have stayed at this new Residence Inn a couple of times before and been satisfied; the rooms are clean and new. However, this room was more of an equipment closet than a residence. I wasn't there for the view and didn't expect much, knowing I have been there before and had a view of the Costco gas line, but this was extremely bad. I was in a studio category room with a large equipment closet in it. Fortunately, I was up before the 6:00 a.m. noise come from it. When I opened the blinds to let light in, my view was of HVAC equipment on the attached roof which was at my window level. If the window opened I could literally sit out on the equipment roof. I have attached photos from the bed and from the sitting area, looking out the 2 windows respectively. There were no other windows. Maybe I got the worst room in the house because I booked with Bonvoy points? Either way, bad architecture and no warning. This room should have come with a discount. It cost 30,000 points or over $300 per night.

Excellent hotel and staff

In town a few days for golf and this was a perfect hotel choice. It is a new and clean and well managed Residence Inn. Breakfast was satisfactory. They have nice outdoor seating and even a putting green. Staff were very helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Does the Job

We stayed for 2 nights at this property primarily because we are platinum elite and could get an actual 2 bedroom suite at a Marriott without spending an insane amount of money. Overall it was good for the space (nice to have a separate bedroom for the kids) and nice to have a full breakfast included for once. The location is not great if you are going to be spending most of your time in Palm Springs, or if you are looking for a vacation vibe. You are literally in the parking lot of the huge Costco (our room had a view of the Costco gas station) and on the main highway 111 so felt very businesslike not vacationlike. But you get what you pay for, and overall it felt safe, clean and friendly.

New hotel with good service

The hotel is new and has a great layout. There was also some friendly front desk service (Adam). The only problem is we were put in a room that would shake every hour because of an issue with the HVAC under our room (we were on the top floor). It feels really strange to be sitting and then all of a sudden for about 10 minutes the entire room shakes. When we went to the front desk they were aware of the problem but there was nothing they could really do. Perhaps they could have given us a heads up at check in? We did stay in the summer, so perhaps it was fixed, but they gave the impression it was happening for awhile. They did compensate with some Bonvoy points for the inconvenience.
