This Residence Inn is new (opened in 2020) and very comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Candy at the front desk, in particular, was great. He accommodated us in a difficult situation -- we were vacationing with our son and daughter-in-law and their one year old daughter, and their flight was rescheduled from the morning to the evening. Highly recommend.

Buyer beware when booking this hotel! I’m a Titanium member who books and stays at Marriotts all the time and I have not seen anything like it. This Marriott has a booking option that is NON-REFUNDABLE even if you cancel 2 weeks in advance. I was charged $1200 for a stay that didn’t happen and was canceled with plenty of time which means they likely rebooked the room and are making double . In the Bonvoy app, the option isn’t going to look any different, it will look like any other option so be careful. What it should have are blaring red notifications! This place isn’t even that nice, it’s not some vacation hotspot, this is primarily a business hotel that hosts many business travelers. Business travelers change their plans all the time. This experience is giving me pause with Marriott all together. An underhanded tactic to cheat people out of money. I will never stay here and I suggest you find one of the many other lovely accommodations in the area and not risk getting cheated out of $1200 like I did. I loved you Marriott, but this is so lame and such poor business sense.

Beautiful property with great staff! Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast. Aris at the front desk was especially helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend. We stay in lots of Marriott properties and this was a really good one!

Pro: Our room was nice; a large suite with kitchen. Con’s: The temperature only adjusted to a minimum of 68°. There was a utility room next to our room and, when workers were in it, we could hear their conversations clearly. They could also use more luggage trolleys, as we had a hard time snagging one in the morning when we needed to leave. We were on a road trip, so had more stuff than usual.

Called and was able to check in early. Adam was very helpful. Able to put us in 330 which is far from the street, elevator and ice machine noise. Had a nice view of the mountains too. we arrived on Thursday and Adam noted that the Village fest was Thursday evening in answer to where we could go and walks around and see what the area was all about. Village fest was just what we wanted, people walking around with arts crafts and food booths in down town Palm Springs. The place is brand new so everything if fresh. We only stayed for two nights so no housekeeping. Everyone was friendly. The breakfast was ample however being new they are working out the kinks. For instance Friday morning hot breakfast was scrambled eggs and two breakfast sandwiches with cheese, egg and sausage one on croissant on on bagel . Tasty for sure, however on Saturday the hot breakfast scrambled eggs, as Swiss cheese quiche and a Swiss cheese and eggs bagel sandwich. No meat. Seems like they could have flip flopped an item. This wouldn’t keep me from returning. I loved the place and hope to return when in the area.
