Spa with Nedelka relaxing and peaceful!

The staff is amazing. They are helpful and friendly. The property is on the older side. Guest experience needs a little work. We called for towels and it took hours to get a towel. The phone didn’t work properly so you couldn’t reach the front desk if you needed something. You can’t really take advantage of room service because the phone was not working and when it did work, you would be transferred to the room service and they wouldn’t answer. The app did not work. I placed a room service order for breakfast through the app an hour and a half before breakfast was over and it never came. I kept waiting thinking it would come. I was sick and couldn’t leave the room. When I managed to go to the front desk, they said that I placed the order late, but they told us we can place room order service and on the app It had a specific time for you to select which I did so they asked if I wanted the breakfast and I said no so I ordered lunch at the front desk because the phone in the room was not working. It seemed as if the resort is short staffed. Everyone works really hard there. I felt super safe. They also have more people trying to get you to listen to a presentation to give you a spa free welcome package. If they have more people working on the guest experience, the resort would receive more stars in the experience would be better. It’s a nice location because you can take a 20 to 25 minute Uber ride to the city. More emphasis on the guest experience will increase the rating for this resort. That’s not to say that the employees didn’t work hard to make guests feel welcome. It just seems as if they were short staffed.

We liked the food and drinks. We found the rooms were dated and not as clean as I would have liked. There wasn’t as much activities happening as i would like.

It’s a beautiful historic resort that was founded in the 20s however, it appears that they are heavily reliant on the unlimited vacation club and since onceyou walked through the door, the concierge facilitate a high pressure sales scheme with at least seven or more other staff involves trying to get you to sign for this vacation package, which sounds like a total nightmare and scam. However, if you participate in the 90 minute presentation, which is actually a lot longer than 90 minutes if you have questions or if they’re trying to twist your arm and convince you that oh this is the smartest thing in the world because you’re vacationing in anyway so you might as well this money so I can earn my commission on selling you this package thankfully I have recovered from the toxic energy of that high pressure sales pitch and was able to enjoy my spa day Westin Playa Bonita, which is next door and where I plan to stay next year

We had our anniversary private dinner on the beach here at the dreams hotel and it was absolutely beautiful! Juliana was our server and we were impressed. She not only had amazing service but decorated the dinner area perfectly!
