Loved my vacation at Dreams Playa Bonita Panama! The staff are very kind and very helpful! Shout out to Eduardo, the restaurant greeter and Henry, the server in the mornings at the Market Cafe, also Rhino (sp?) at the pool bar was awesome. These Gentlemen are kind and welcoming! All the staff were but these three really stood out! If you’re looking for ocean swimming, I don’t recommend as it’s not the best for swimming but the pools are lovely. Rooms are a little dated but clean and for the amount of time spent in there, not a big factor to me. The drinks are plenty and they take great care in making your drinks perfect but because of that service can be slow. More staff or bars would help with the speed. Restaurants were wonderful and yummy! My biggest recommendation is that they bring in more umbrellas around the pool for extra shade when needed.

This resort is beautiful, clean and quiet. We booked the Adult only Preferred Club package. We were given a beautiful room on the 5th floor - fantastic view of the ocean. Unfortunately, there were children in our section of the hotel and the Preferred Club pool was far from our room and there was no bar service around the pool most of the days we were there. Many of the staff looked unhappy - no smiles. Communication was tough as most of the staff did not understand english and we knew limited spanish. For New Years eve dinner the hotel was asking guests to pay $50 per chair to get a seat if they want to sit at a table for the New Years Eve show and dinner. The food and drinks and show were included in your hotel pkg. Came across as a shake down of guests who had already paid thousands of dollars to be there. At the Tropical show the hotel once again asked guests to pay for a bottle of wine if you want a seat near the stage. All of this left a negative impression of this resort. Food was good at most of the restaurants. The Preferred Club lounge was on the 2nd floor - not easily accessible for seniors. We only stopped by it twice on the entire one week trip. We will not be going back to this resort. We do prefer the Secrets Chain of resorts

My mom and I were there to celebrate her 64th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well taken care of. The service was excellent. A special highlight was Alexandra, who leads the daily activities and keeps guests engaged and entertained throughout the day. We truly enjoyed the shows, especially the sunset walk on the beach. Alexandra made it both entertaining and informative—we learned about the canal and Panama in general. We would definitely recommend participating in the daily activities while enjoying the great service, the pool, and the private beach

Mellisa was a great server. We really enjoyed our dinner. The tuna tartare was excellent, and the chocolate dessert amazing.

I read the reviews before coming to the resort. I was skeptical about going. But I have to say, I have to disagree with the negative reviews. Everything about the resort was Grade A. My room was perfect and the view from my room was simply beautiful. The pool, food, drinks and customer service was perfect. I have no complaints and I would recommend the resort to anyone.
