We dined in the Italian restaurant at the resort. Overall it was a good experience our waiter was named David and he provided great service.

The meal was delicious. Service from the servers was very attentive. This restaurant is a gem in Canton del Sol Resort

Currently at Canto Del Sol, no where near a 4*, more of a 2*. First upon arrival we weren't able to get any dinner, fortunately we had brought snacks but junk food dinner for my family wasn't great. The buffet instead of having a theme night in combination with your standard pasta station, and meat carving station, along with burgers, fries, etc., unfortunately there was literally nothing my family would eat in the buffet tonight, and we're not picky eaters. One of our child's favourite snack is plain rice with a little butter and salt, but they wouldn't even touch the rice. Not a good start to our first day here. I have a feeling that our next trip to PV will not be at an AI, it would be better to just rent an AirBnB and make our own meals.

In short this resort is really special! I reccomend a 7 day package stay for about 1800/w tax per adult, I would not spend much more as its missing some in some details for that value explained below. We loved the food everday, especially the local mexican dishes wow! Never tasted anything like it before. Very fast service and always stocked, but they need to do better to make sure birds never touch the food or spoons ever. The pools, beach and ocean location is stunning, great fun for the kids and long walks, perfect sunsets. But some days pools got cloudy, debris from guests not cleaned off the breach in morning is bit unsightly and makes you not want to go in. This resort excells the most with its staff, great people, always friendly and helpful. Any allergies were always taken to heart, yet none of the dishes are well labeled so you cant blindly trust anything so be prepared to work with staff daily. Room was big and did the job but small details were not great like mirror was damaged, backdoor did not seal cloaed fully so bugs got into room a bit if you left food out. The pull out sofa mattress was awful, never used it. Small things they should know to fix easily. Resort is very big which allows for great variety of pools and food spots, but can take a few minutes to walk to different spots, not the most convienent for strollers and getting something simple as a coffee, water or a mid day burger need to be more accessable in places like the villa. Again wildly simple fixes to gain them better reviews and stars. But none of these are deal breakers. Overall location is great, 10 min walk to groceries, banks, shops, icecream stores, rentals. 30 mins to air port or the famous pier.

I just want to say the staff at Canto Del Sol are simply amazing. Tiki Tiki aka Carlos is phenomenal. He goes to any length to make your day at the pool spectacular. He makes sure your drink is never empty. Finds you loungers and umbrellas. He is unbelievable. Vianey..Alex..Juan in the lobby bar are amazing. Paying attention too everything u want. Alex makes the best high-end cocktails and Vianey delivers them with a smile so big. Erick was also one of the best and worked in all areas. He was so polite and fun Alexia and Alverro aka Bruno Mars at the pool are the warmest people ever. They have all become my friends because I keep going back to see them. I return to this resort for the staff. From the entertainment to the bar....I give kudos to them all. They feel like family to me. The food unfortunately at the resort isn't the best but these exceptional people make up for it.
