This was the worst vacation I have ever been on. The rooms we were assigned were in the Villa Vallarta section, connected to Cantos Del Sol by a bridge. This area was rundown, poorly maintained, and not clean. Our room had dirt, mould, ripped and stained curtains, poor lighting and a loose balcony door frame. Our view overlooked a roof. where it appeared, people could access which certainly didn’t feel like a vacation resort experience. The distance from our room to the beach and main resort amenities was unreasonably long and significantly detracted from our vacation experience. The front desk staff were unhelpful and unfriendly including a few of the bellman. The food was consistently cold. The Palapa is on the beach were so low to the ground that it was difficult to get a chair under. and the outdoor washrooms were disgusting. The resorts photos do not accurately represent all areas where guests may be accommodated. If you are unhappy with your room, you may be offered to upgrade for an additional $35 American per night, which felt very misleading. There were a few positives. The à la carte restaurants were excellent, the buffet wait staff were attentive and friendly and Carlos one of the beach servers, provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, those positives were not enough to make up for the overall experience. This resort has significant work to do in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and customer service. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to any family or friends. After returning home, I submitted a formal complaint through the travel agent. I was disappointed to learn that because the hotel did not agree with my concerns, the investigation is closed without resolution. Do not waste your hard earned vacation dollars on a trip of this calibre.

Best restaurant experience I’ve ever had on vacation! Very professional staff, excellent food and drinks, very efficient service. We also ordered dessert but I dug into the plate before I could take the picture :) If you’re looking for a pleasant, fancy dinner experience, this is the place to go.

My experience was just what I needed. My whole family enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious at all hours. All the staff was ready to serve us. I recommend this resort to everyone.

Solo trip for 9 nights. Had a great time. Everything was exactly right for the price I paid. Service was great. Good was ok not amazing but at that price eating out in the food centric Versailles for a few lunches and dinners worked out great to mix it up Definitely a few easy things I would advise management on that could step it up a bit but absolutely no issues during my trip. The ceviche restaurant was an incredible option which I took advantage of nearly every day. For a great budget friendly option I would definitely return.

Me and my friends went here for a week an couldn't be happier. The drinks were great, staff and locals were so lovely, especially Jorge. That guy seriously needs a raise for being such a fun bartender! He made some great drinks and shots!!!
