Please note The Canto Del Sol Plaza Vallarta will be painting the façade of the main pool area located in the CANTO TOWER until further notice. The noise made during these improvements is not going to be constant and will be heard between 9:00 am - 6pm.
In an effort to prevent any inconvenience to guests the hotel will be assigning rooms away for the area being painted at the time. Daily activities will not be affected.
There is currently work being done on the tennis court from 9am – 6pm, opening January 2026.

As of January 2020, the sister hotels Canto del Sol and Villas Vallarta are combined under the name Canto del Sol Puerto Vallarta with a Beach section (currently Canto del Sol) and a Mountain section (formerly Villas Vallarta). Guests in either section have full access to the amenities and facilities of both sections. Luxury and Viilas section are not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, for greater comfort and to avoid any inconvenience, we recommend booking in our Canto Tower section.

We dined in the Italian restaurant at the resort. Overall it was a good experience our waiter was named David and he provided great service.
