This is actually our 5th visit to Vallarta Bay. The staff is our “family”. Yamile is a lifeguard on the Dreams side. She has the sweetest heart. We feel very well taken care of. The butlers and poolside waiters are also simply delightful.

Secrets PV is one of our favorite locations. The staff are amazing!!! The food is delicious, fresh and well prepared. The variety is great. The servers are very attentive, Wendi, Sergio and Antonio to name a few have amazing customer service and remember our names and likes. This is our 5th year at this location and we have an amazing experience every time. If you enjoy being pampered this is the place. The variety of specialty dining is a plus. Francisco is funny, attentive, checked on us through out our time and assisted special dinner plans with our large group. The entire staff go out of the their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the views are beautiful. Definitely going back again. We love it there.

We really enjoyed our time at Secrets Vallarta Bay. There were plentiful food options. Most of the food and specialty dining was great. Particular favourites were Tamarindo and Oceana. The Coco Cafe was so handy to grab and go something to eat. There were always many choices of both sweets and sandwiches. We loved the pools and location. The service is what really made the experience for us; everyone was very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Secrets. I highly recommend the Preferred Club, well worth the cost. Our butler Jose was always available to help with anything from finding us find pool chairs to dinner reservations. We felt very safe and relaxed during our visit. Nightly entertainment was great and varied from live music in the lobby, a Beatles show, mariachi, to sing and paint. All of the food choices were surprisingly good, even the buffet. We will definitely return to this location!

This was our second visit to Secrets Vallarta Bay, having gone last year around the same time. While we overall had a nice time, we felt the bloom was a bit off the rose. The first time we stayed (in Preferred), our butler checked in on us a couple times a day, stopping by to say hello while we were in the pool, offering to make dinner arrangements, transport into town, etc. This time our butler, while very nice, simply texted a pdf of the day's activities to us. While we were not bothered by the timeshare people, my daughter got suckered into the 'welcome breakfast' and her promised massage certificate was held hostage for two hours, as she pleading with them to let her go after they kept ushering in 'closer' after 'closer' to try to get her to purchase. We found her in tears. This is not acceptable. The restaurants were about the same as last year, but while last year we received our steaks as we ordered them (medium rare), this year we had to send them back or leave them on the plate as they constantly arrived grey and overcooked. There seemed to be much less entertainment than last year and we also took to calling the 'club' downstairs on the Dreams side the Sad Disco. One night, I gave the DJ (who was playing HORRIBLE, undance-able music) $5 and asked him to just play me two songs we could all dance to such as Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, etc. I waited 30 minutes and left. The lounge chair game was worse this year as well, so we ended up having to beat the boomers who get up at dawn to hog seats and placed items on two chairs at 1am before bed. Would we come back? Maybe. Depends on our budget at the time. It was an overall good value and fun time, but I wanted to leave this review with all of the details to help others make an informed decision.
