Overall everything was amazing and couldn't have asked better experience. Jose, our butler, offered us out of this world service, considering our large group. Providing us with the best recommendations and accommodations. Adrian provided us with the most amazing service at the buffet to the point we looked forward to seeing him daily.

I love this resort, The people is so friendly, Misael at the preferred bar was the best ?? ?? Caramelo with his crepes was delightful ?? Alberta at the quesadilla station supper nice and Daniel at the Sushi place ????made an amazing Sushi and also went above and beyond customizing Sushi for my seafood alergic husband ???????? and the cherry on top was Whales visiting us ????????

My family and I stayed here for 9 days in February as I was getting married on the 25th. My stay was nothing short of amazing. The property was beautiful, but the staff really made this property stand out from any other resort I’ve been to. The staff were so kind, attentive, and very hard working. We had a large group wherever we went, and they never missed a thing! Even with the events on the 22nd, the staff still took the time to make sure we were taken care of, uncertain of the situation of their home country. Hugo, Manuel, Jose B., Wendy, Maria, Benito, Jimmy, and Alberto- thank you so much for everything you did for my family and I, you made us all feel so special! This property truly has the best team!

Where to begin….We just spent 2 weeks (February 8 - 22(24)) at Secrets Vallarta Bay, for our second time. To be honest, we are already looking forward to returning next year. Both visits we were Preferred Club and we feel it is worth the upgrade, but it depends on the type of traveller you are and to be honest, we haven’t tried the other rooms. Our absolute best part of being preferred was, the Chief of Preferred Club……NIRVANA!! I literally have no words worthy of how much Nirvana made our 25th anniversary trip the most incredible stay. We arrived as her guests, became friends and left feeling like family. Even when we had unexpected flight delays and had to stay a few extra days, Nirvana made us a priority which we never would have expected as she no doubt had other things to focus her attention on. I am sure that Hyatt, the Secrets staff and any guest that meets her, knows how irreplaceable she truly is. I could literally go on for pages, so if you are there, in the preferred club, look around and say hi….you wont regret it. When we arrived, we were immediately met by the staff outside the lobby. Our vehicle door was opened, followed by the perfect greeting, “welcome home “. We feel we are, each time. The bags are taken care, a door opens and a drink welcomes you immediately, then escorted to your check in location. Preferred club is a few floors down in a separate building. YES, at some point someone will sit with you and offer you discounted things for your time, should you choose to explore a presentation on the Unlimited Vacation Club (Often referred to as a time share by others). If you do not want to do this or listen to the offers, just politely say it isn’t for you and you are not interested. No one pressures you or is aggressive to the point of ruining your day, it’s that simple. They are doing their job, but also respect you as a guest. We didn’t do it, but maybe one day we will since we enjoy our time there so much….we will see. Our room was on a lower level so we used the stairs instead of the elevator. The Garden view was a great view of the ocean for us and we loved the jacuzzi tub on the balcony. We used it after a day in the sun before dinner, but sometimes before bed. A bag of bath bombs we brought with us lasted our 2 weeks and elevated the experience. The breakfast self serve was great for us as new don’t eat a large breakfast normally, so smoked salmon bagels, yogurt, egg dishes, fruit, juices, etc. was plenty for us and no need to go to the buffet. Now we did go to the buffet some times, and it was pretty amazing too…..Crepe stations, egg stations, every type of station you could want. Mimosa, Caesar, tequila shot….how ever you want to start the day is judgement free :) We rented a Cabana (VIP) for a few days and really, pretty darn sweet!! 2 floors, sun deck, beach loungers and sun deck loungers. Stocked Cooler, snacks, Special Meal, Private staff member for anything you could want, giant T.V…….we enjoyed it a lot. My wife and her friend had a few 90 minute massages by the pool and they both expressed how amazing they were…which is why they booked more :) The price of the resort massage vs the people on the beach is not that big of a difference and with the resort, you know you have the best conditions and staff, backed by the resort. Everyone can obviously decide what’s best for them, but this was a choice we did not regret and would recommend. None of us used the spa, aside from the Water circuit, which was just OK. Wine rooms, we did the French as well as the Italian. Both wine rooms were an elevated experience and i would also recommend these. Even just once during your stay. You buy a bottle of wine in your price range and if you don’t finish it, you take it with you. There are very nice options available and my group of 4 tried more than one. Really, We all had travelled for so many years and together, for a lot of them. We met our friends in Cancun and have gone all over to different resorts and countries over the years. We agreed that of everywhere we have been, we have never felt so relaxed, pampered and spoiled as were at Secrets Vallarta Bay. You can not go wrong here. Seriously, each and every staff member in the resort will spoil you as well. I still have to mention some that really stand out to us, for different reasons, but all for being amazing. Emilio was our most regular pool bar attendant. I can say for 2 weeks, I never …ever had an empty glass….even when I probably needed one hahaha Before Dinner each night in the Lobby and after Dinner before returning to our room…Carmenina! Efficient, catering, and on top of any need you may have! She made sure everyone was taken care of wanted nothing more. Manuel and Michell in the Bordeaux on February 21st. The meal and experience seems like something that should have costed more as an extra, but it wasn’t. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!. Marisela in the preferred club..the start of our trip to the last day, even the extra ones…I can not imagine our room being better maintained. We met in the hallway each day and she always had a smile, a greeting, and ensured our room was maintained above any standard we would have expected in any hotel. We truly lucked out with her on our 3rd floor. Alejandro in the Cabana….what can i say, he will accommodate your experience and tailor make it for you and your group. Icing on the cake. Now when our flight was delayed by a few days, it was a little stressful, but there are 2 staff members we met in the Buffet that had a gift to bring that light and make any situation better, Gilberto and Whitney!! I can not thank them enough for ensuring our circumstances were the best they could be. There is no doubt they, like all staff, had other things to give their attention to, but they ensured we were taken care of as much as possible. THANK YOU This resort is amazing and the staff really make it elevated beyond anywhere we have ever been. We went to celebrate and we had an adventure of a life time. Thank you staff of Secrets Vallarta Bay, Thank you Hyatt for taking care of us when we needed it, and once again…Nirvana, thank you for absolutely everything.
