This trip was my husband and my first opportunity to visit Puerto Vallarta. We chose Secrets because we had heard good things about that resort from family and friends. We also enjoyed the fact that Secrets was an adult only facility. We had a great time! The facility was clean, the food was great, the drinks were good, and all of the staff were excellent! Our butler, Jose Becerra was very attentive and always checked in with us on a daily basis. He was always ready to help us make any arrangements that we needed including excursions, dinner, reservations, water refills in our room, etc. The hotel was slightly dated in some ways, but it was always well maintained and clean. It was in a great location on the beach in Vallarta Bay. All of the staff were extremely friendly. This includes Carlos and Junior at poolside and David, who kept us all entertained at the pool as well as in the evening. The French restaurant and the Italian restaurant were very good. We also enjoyed the hibachi restaurant. We did pay for the preferred club room, which was worth it just for the extra attention. We will definitely be back!

Jose our butler was great and attended to every need.

We had a great time. This was a return trip for us. We especially enjoyed the assistance of our butler, Jose Becerra. He was so helpful in making sure our experience was fantastic! Thanks you for all of the information and the special experiences at dinner.

We’re here for a good time! Carlos M, in entertainment, took our dance requests for the pool area and let me say, he knows a good cumbia song when he hears it. José was our butler and he got us every reservation. He checked in on us and delivered top tier service. Carlos and Daniel work the pool area for drink and good service; they were quick, super nice and accommodating. The spa services were killer; if you haven’t been be sure to try them. I interacted with so many friendly people but I’ll shout out a few Diego, Sara, Nora, and I think Karen. And my final shout out goes to the preferred club personnel. They got us hooked up and helped us celebrate like no tomorrow. Thank you Secrets!

My wife and I had our wedding at the Secrets resort at the end of March. The resort was incredible, and they made the process super easy. We were able to relax, have a great time, and have the perfect wedding. Celeste was our wedding coordinator and did an incredible job!
