The staff was excellent everywhere especially at the concierge (Monshe, Georgina,Ana and everyone at the Wings sport bar)Gracias! Service was slow but that was because they were not expecting such a large influx of people so soon and they were under a new computer system. My only complaint is the elite service is nonexistent. No difference between regular and elite except the price. Hopefully this will be rectified in the future. Please try the the ribs and the spinach salad at wings sports bar. Mucho excellante! Oh yes and if you do stay here make sure you get Aretzi to help you. She is very helpful and professional.

Everyone here is incredibly friendly and, if you can roll yourself out of bed in the morning, the buffet is extensive. Underwater bar and plenty of local snorkelling and sightseeing, what else do you need?

Where to start, don’t wast your money on the all inclusive package. Worst service I have ever experienced, and every time we complained to management their only answer was sorry nothing we can do for you. Tried calling for room service on multiple occasions told sorry were not doing room service. They only had two servers covering the pool area which meant 2 hrs waiting for lunch. We never got to try half the restaurants because they were closed and the food at the ones we did try weren’t edible. Their excuse was they are sort staff because of employees sick with COVID yet every other resort we visited said they have no staffing problems. I believe they are purposely doing this to save money and don’t care about the guest. We’ve stayed at the Cabo location and our stay was the complete opposite. We are completely disappointed with our vacation and will never return. I recommend staying away from this resort.

My family and I arrived on Sunday the 18th. Upon arrival, the front desk had no rooms available for us and finally, after an hour and a half standing at the desk and watching many others check in, they put us in a temporary room (we were to move later) which on the Villa Del Mar section, was completely unacceptable. We then paid an additional $400+ for an upgraded room. If they had overbooked, why charge for the room? Overbooking was not our fault! Extremely frustrating after a day’s worth of travel with 2 young kids.
Due to the same overbooking, the restaurant El Patron had only half of their menu items available, the ice cream/crepe place was open sporadically at best and when open, the girl cashier at the creperie could not have been more unpleasant!
On to the good…Bryan at the pool helped ease oir check in pains by setting us up nicely poolside after all restaurants had closed after the painful 1 1/2 hour long check in process. Thanks for saving the day, Bryan!!
Angel, Kary and the activities team were so helpful and pleasant to encounter. Angel set us up with kayaks daily and our daughter enjoyed the bracelet making and cooking class!!

Adan, our housekeeper, was absolutely fantastic and a such a friendly face to see each day!
So after a week’s stay, we have mixed feelings. We honestly probably will not stay here or with a Villa deal Palmar again due to the check in issues we experienced, but the beyond excellent service by the great and friendly staff leaves us with an overall pleasant feeling after our Summer vacation.

I do not understand the good reviews. Our stay has left much to be desired.
Pros: everything is very clean, the grounds are well-manicured, the food tastes pretty good, and it's easy to get a taxi
Cons: First, this is a timeshare resort and they try to sell it to you immediately after you check in, though thank goodness we skipped this "orientation". Second, the Service was HORRIBLE. We paid for the all-inclusive option and waited forever to get waited on at the pools, at the restaurants, everywhere. Multiple times my husband even tried tipping cash (even though tips are supposed to be included) right off the bat, in hopes we would get more attentive service. It never worked. Service still sucked. Every day of our 6 day stay was the same horrible service. We were told at check-in that we had a room with a view of the pool, except the pool could not be seen. They did switch our room after we complained, but the second room smelled like something had died in it and it was SO noisy because it was right by a stairwell. Last night, we tried to order room service at 8:30, which is supposed to be open until 10:00. It took multiple phone calls and finally got someone to pick up at 9:00, only to be told that they were to busy and couldn't take our order because it wouldn't be ready before 10. Finally, the beach is a public beach, which means there are locals that harass you to buy overpriced goods/services non-stop. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Take my advice and skip it.
