Mar and Salvador was so lit!!! Best ever. They helped make us have fun.

We arrived the day their system went down, however the friendly front desk staff were able to get us into our room quickly! We had requested a room overlooking the pool or ocean and a king size bed, but on arrival we got two queen size beds and a view over the street. At first I was so disappointed and wanted to move, but it was actually alright. The suite was colourful, clean and spacious. We loved it! We looked out to the Crazy Park which was noisy at night, although fun to listen to the screams and laughter of people and see all the lights. Once our sliding glass door was closed you could barely hear a thing. Our AC worked perfectly, Our maid service was fantastic and anything at all we asked for was taken care of in minutes! We cannot express enough how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING the staff are here AND consistently, not just once in a while, ALWAYS! We tried all the a la cartes, we were all inclusive and we have to say, the food was exceptional, and LOTS, we had to start sharing portions! We had to get used to this being a big TIME SHARE resort, making sure we told them at each restaurant, we were all inclusive. So many choices of food and definitely worth every cent we spent! We did NOT go off the resort for dinner, we did not feel the need to. The beach is lovely, and a nice long beach for walks. There are lots of loungers and you ask the staff to bring you one or two umbrellas for shade. On our first days we found it difficult to get a lounger near the pools and chose the beach instead which is nicer! People get up EARLY, possibly 4:30 AM!!! We enjoy the vendors on the beach, special mention to Willie (especially Willie) Roger, Lukas, Sylvia, Sophia, Clara, Marco Polo, Juan, Diego and Karissa. The pools are lovely here at the resort, and the beach or pool service is terrific! The resort is so clean! We arrived on February 19, and all the fires and chaos and violence started the morning of February 22. We were not allowed off the resort on this day, not until later the next day when it was safe. We did not feel unsafe. What we did find is that the staff worked tirelessly, they could not go home, and no new staff could come to take the next shifts, so the staff that started at 6 or 7 am on the 22nd, stayed and worked 2-3 shifts, and they had smiles on their faces, even though they were scared and worried about their families. It was so emotional, we cannot express enough how incredible they were. We were so worried about them and so impressed by them all. Shout out to all staff at the Villa del Palmar, you are all absolutely the best. I could go on and on about this resort and staff. We could not complain about a thing. If we were to come again though, we would prefer a room with a bit of a view! We also hope the prices don't go up too much! The entertainment was also great and it started at 8:00 PM every night, and changed regularly. We are not late nighters, so 8 PM was perfect! The proximity of this resort is nice, 10 minutes from the airport, easy access to shopping and restaurants. Here are extra special mentions of staff, Seafood Market - Emilse, Juan Carlos, Emiliano, Monica and Paty and Ricardo, we so enjoyed meeting you and sharing conversations with you. La Tratorilla - Hugo, Ignacio and Carlos, you were the best! We miss you and hope to be back next year! Kenna, Agustin, Celestiano, Etelvina, Junveth, Heriberto, Maria. We had breakfast and lunch here every day of 14 days, we could not have asked for more personal, friendly, profession and kind service. You made our days! I may have missed some names, I apologize. Ignacio, thank you for the best omelettes every single morning! Mexican - Onifrey, David and Hugo - such terrific food and service! Japanese - Chef Jesus, Chef Mario, Miguel, Isidro, Jr, Juan Carlos, Denise and Carlos. Another special and fantastic dining experience! And did I mention how scrumptious the food is here, and how many choices you have! Try the salmon at the Mexican, the mussels at the Seafood Market, I sincerely apologize if I missed your name to give you special mention, but again, all staff were just the best! The Creperie/Coffee/Ice Cream shop - thank you for the scrumptious ice cream and super friendly service! Love the smiles and laughs!!! Villa del Palmar, if your price stays reasonable, we will be back! We wish you all the very best and hope you have a fantastic and safe year. We hope to see you in 2027!

Our experience was first rate overall; especially the treatment we received from Ricardo and Jose Antonio. Jose Antonio went out of his way to make us feel like VIPs. Great work guys.

My time here was absolutely amazing. the staff is amazing, very friendly.mi amigo George Fracisco Gonzalez is great, He helped me with my Spanish and funny he just was overall a highlight on the trip. I would highly recommend to try and speak the native language they appreciate it a lot!. makes the experience way better!
