Five Stars Chef Javier at QinQin was one of the true standouts of our stay. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday, and he went far above and beyond to make the evening feel genuinely special. He surprised us with extra dishes and created a beautiful dessert that was absolutely delicious. His cooking is exceptional. Every dish reflected real skill, a refined palate, and a creative approach to Mexican and Asian fusion flavors that was both surprising and perfectly balanced. What set him apart was not just his talent in the kitchen but his warmth and generosity. He has the kind of inviting energy that makes you feel like a welcomed guest, not just a customer. His attention to detail, genuine kindness, and excellent service elevated the entire experience. If you have the chance to enjoy a meal prepared by Chef Javier at QinQin, consider yourself lucky. He is a tremendous asset to this resort.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay overall, celebrating our wedding anniversary. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The staff throughout the resort were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel special from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent at the Mexican and Italian restaurants. The food at the outdoor lunch restaurant was very good but not as good as the other two. The pool area was perfect for relaxing and never felt overcrowded. The gym was also a standout — brand new, spotless, and very well equipped with cardio machines, free weights, and strength equipment. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping everything in great condition during our stay. This is definitely a resort designed for relaxing. It’s on the smaller side and there isn’t a long list of activities or entertainment — but that was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place to truly unplug from work, sleep uninterrupted without our small children, eat well, get a few workouts in and relax. This resort checked those boxes perfectly. The only downside was the beach. Unfortunately, the sargassum was extremely extremely heavy during our visit, making the beach completely unusable, and the smell was quite strong at times. We understand that this is a natural and seasonal issue and not something the resort can fully control, but they did almost nothing to improve the situation. One night we went off property to another hotel and though they still had an unusable beach, they kept up with the cleaning through the day so the smell was a non issue and we were able to enjoy dinner outside. That said, the property, amenities, and service were excellent, and we still had a great stay overall.
