The Best Suite

DavAtkn on Apr 20, 2024

We stayed at the Argonaut to celebrate 2 birthdays, mine and my daughter's and our stay was a top tier experience! We stayed in the largest corner suite, accompanied by a second adjoining room. The suite was impressively spacious, included a dining area, living space, bed area, and a jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the bay. With our reservation including food credits, every aspect of our stay felt worth it and the hotel's location couldn't have been better, placing us conveniently close to everything we wanted to experience. A special mention goes to Stephanie at the front desk, whose warm welcome and thoughtful gesture of wine, chocolates, and birthday cards made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for the enthusiastic service, it truly made our celebration unforgettable. We hope to come again next year.

Best place in SF for families

Stephen R on Apr 17, 2024

Large rooms with excellent views of the Bay. Wonderful service too! We stayed five days and had a large suite (950 sq ft). More than enough garage for us and our kids plus a large dining table which made meals and games fun. The hotel staff was very responsive with waters, room fixes, meals and parking service. Would definitely stay here again.

Broke my leg during my stay--My belongings and I were in great hands here!

Ethan A on Apr 16, 2024

I travel a lot for work and this staff was far and away the kindest and most accommodating of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Even before my injury this was already apparent to me. They have a phenomenal restaurant, interesting events, awesome and friendly people. Not to mention a phenomenal location and comfortable accommodations. My first time in San Francisco, and on my second day, after my business was concluded, I took a scenic bike ride to Marin County and back. A word of advice if you do the same and it starts raining--probably best to pack it up and call an uber! I took a spill from the bike and broke my femur, and had to go to the hospital. Veronica was awesome for gathering my things for me, and Irfan was a saint to bring some essentials for me himself, visiting me in the hospital and bringing a to-go meal from the Blue Mermaid. He also got me an ADA accessible room so that I had somewhere to stay before my return flight, once I was released from the hospital. I also have to mention Javier, who was incredibly sweet, always going the extra mile helping me with my bags, pushing my wheelchair, and even helped me put my shoes on when it was time to leave and the pain was too great. It was a truly humbling ordeal in an unfamiliar city, but they made sure that I never felt alone. Thank you to everyone at the Argonaut for making my stay as lovely as possible despite the circumstances!

One night only

miguel v on Apr 12, 2024

We came in from up north and traveled with our 3 year old for one night. Whether it is for 1 night or more, it is worth the stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Brandon at the front desk was fantastic! The doorman (sorry did not get his name) was amazing as well. We ate dinner at Blue Mermaid. Hector, our server, was amazing as well. His hospitality was fantastic. I have a shellfish allergy and he was attentive to that. Overall a great stay and I cannot wait until we can go back.

We loved it, superb hotel, great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Argonaut. We stayed 8 nights over Easter, On arrival we were lucky to have been upgraded which we appreciated. The room was superb with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. The room was clean and serviced perfectly throughout our stay. Staff are very friendly and the bar/restaurant is great. We did find that the bar closed quiet early on some evenings which surprised us and we didn't think this was fitting of an international hotel. Last orders called at 9.30pm some evenings. The food quality in the restaurant was excellent and the bar had a great selection of wines, beers and cocktails. The hotels location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay in the fisherman's wharf area. We used uber to travel around the city as we found them cheap and accessible.
