Had a wonderful experience lodging at The Argonaut. Spent a 5 days with a fantastic golden gate view. Location is great for sightseeing and the team can’t be more accommodating and helpful. Special shout out to Sharon and Carlos at the front desk who made it an unforgettable experience for my family vacation. Rooms are a bit tight for more than two people. And not inexpensive. Ah and the bathroom has a barn door not ideal when sharing the room with several people.

Great hotel, at tail end of 4 night stay - location awesome, quiet rooms, blue mermaid is good. Subtracted a star because at this price point 1) tv super clunky and hard to stream other than Netflix, 2) no coffee maker in room (weird), 3) staff are helpful but I can’t say really friendly. That said, these are not big issues - recommended!

Excellent hotel in a fantastic hotel for tourists staying in San Francisco. Right in the heart of Fisherman’s walk, it was a short walk to Pier 39, the Alcatraz ferry and many other attractions around the area. Just over an hour walk to the Golden Gate Bridge also allowed us to stretch our legs a little without it feeling like a long hike. The room was immaculate and we had a complimentary gift left for our honeymoon celebration. Breakfast in the restaurant was also ideal and a good selection. The service was excellent with concierge to help with our needs. For anyone visiting San Francisco, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting some of San Francisco’s top attractions. The area surrounding the hotel felt very safe. It was within walking distance for the ferry to Alcatraz, a cable car stop, and many restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf. The rooms offered plenty of room for my family of four and had great views of the Bay. Javier was one of the most helpful and friendly employees that we encountered during our stay! He was great! I would highly recommend this property for a visit to San Francisco!

The Argonaut hotel is located in a great spot to enjoy all the sites of San Francisco but the real benefit of choosing to stay at this hotel is dealing with the helpful and competent staff. For example at check in I mentioned I might like to have a second bed in my room to allow a family member from the Bay area to stay with me. While a second bed was not available the front desk staff offered me a room with a pull out couch at no extra cost! Very kind. When after my trip I realized I was charged a resort fee that I was unaware of, for amenities I did not access, I was pleased to come to a resolution with the front desk manager on duty. It is this satisfactory resolution that will ensure I return to The Argonaut on my future trips to San Francisco. That said, I should also note that the rooms are also a treat as they are very spacious and clean. Clearly they have be updated recently. A stay at The Argonaut will not disappoint you!
