Wonderful Stay & Vegetarian treat

thegarrettgang (Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany) on Jul 05, 2024

Awesome resort. Loved the vegan, vegetarian, and Indian menus (so rare to find). Great snorkeling with everything provided by resort. Quiet beach, especially the second beach location, and peaceful place to sit under shade as waves gently roll in. We enjoyed open air rooms and only got nibbled on by bugs during early evenings outside the too when we didn’t use the provided bug repellent. Overall a fantastic all inclusive experience.

Trip of a Lifetime

Tyler G on Jun 28, 2024

My wife and I were absolutely stunned with every aspect of Anse Chastanet for our honeymoon! The resort was beautiful, your staff was warm and welcoming, and the food was beyond what we could have imagined! Every aspect of the resort we encountered was managed extremely well and we could not have been happier with our choice to stay at your resort for our honeymoon. We know we're going to be returning in the future!

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!

Brian S on Jun 23, 2024

My wife and I went to Anse Chastanet for our honeymoon, and it is by far the best vacation we have taken (and has set a high bar for future trips)! The resort itself is amazing in how it is designed and built into the hillside. The beach is pristine with calm, crystal clear waters which were great for snorkeling, beach bungalows to keep you in the shade so you can spend the whole day there, and beach service for drinks and food so you do not even need to leave your chair. The offer many activities to really see and experience Saint Lucia such as hiking the Pitons and experiencing the mud baths. We did a couples massage, and greatly enjoyed the spa! THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We did the all inclusive option (highly recommend), and this is not like any other all inclusive we have been to. Food is cooked to order with fresh fish and other meat selections. They have their own farm where they grow their own fruits, vegetable, and my wife’s favorite thing cocoa beans to make their own chocolate! The main thing we were impressed with was the staff! They are all absolutely wonderful, and make you feel pampered as soon as you get there! We will definitely be going back, and convincing friends and family to visit!

Excellent vacation at Anse Chastenet

George P (Downingtown, Pennsylvania) on Jun 20, 2024

I was supposed to go on this trip with my wife but she broke her collarbone a week before we were supposed to go so I went on by myself. I wanted to dive St Lucia as well as see the island. I loved the Anse Chastanet resort. The food and service were excellent - in fact the dinners in the Treehouse were some of the best resort food I've had anywhere. I was on the all-inclusive plan, so it made it easy to order 4 courses for dinner and not worry about the costs, and I found the all-inclusive wines and cocktails to be quite good as well. I stayed in a beachfront room as I cannot live without air conditioning, and I found the room quite comfortable. The stairs to the treehouse for breakfast and most dinners were considerable but nothing I couldn't handle and was probably good for me. I really liked being at beach level for access to the beach and the dive shop. I spent 6 days diving with Scuba St. Lucia (the on-site) dive shop and really enjoyed diving with them - their service was excellent as well. Finally I should mention having lunch at Anse Mamin (it was very good although a hot walk to get there). All in all, It was great trip - the only downside was my wife wasn't there to enjoy it with me as I think she would have loved it. She doesn't dive but would have enjoyed hanging on the beach and would have loved the food, drinks, and ambiance. We may return in the future when she can travel again.

Relaxation in Paradise

JThohan (Mequon, Wisconsin) on Jun 17, 2024

Amazing resort set in a hillside with a beautiful black sand beach and clear ocean water. The St Lucian people are so friendly, the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing short of fabulous. We did the All Inclusive plan, which was worth it as the drinks and food a la carte are pricey. Not all liquors and drinks are included on the AI plan, for the price of the stay, I would expect more liquors and drinks to be on the AI list. The liquors and drinks on the AI plan are the lower quality bar brands. There was only one wine in each category on the AI list, if you wanted a whiskey or bourbon other than the cheaper offerings, it was extra. The food was excellent, enough variety for the dinner menus but for lunch, there was only the beach grills. After 7 days, the lunches became repetitive, wish there were more lunch options, particularly vegan. Sunsets are beautiful, make sure you enjoy them! Bar service at sunset was slow, which was disappointing but other than that, service was very good. Note that the beach is a public beach - there are boats that come from other resorts and rentals. In May, fortunatley we missed the cruise ship day trips which I understand can make the beach busy. We always had a hut and chairs each day. The snorkeling is a must - there is a protected marine park roped off. Also worth it to snorkel right off the beach and down by the pier. We saw multitudes of fish, a barracuda, crabs, flying fish, eels but missed the elusive turtle. We did not do any day trips (which were expensive) nor leave the resort - it was a great resort for relaxations, no tvs! Not really a resort for younger children (there is an age restriction). We did enjoy spa treatments, which were very nice. The resort is an hour from the airport, most of the island roads are winding, on the last trek up to the resort, you go up the hill on unpaved, rocky, uneven roads. Which is why once we arrived, we did not venture out. Also, can't say I minded it as maybe it kept some from driving to the public beach. A bucket list must!
