Can't say enough good things!

Can't say enough great things about this resort! We had an all-inclusive except for alcoholic drinks. We were in their superior beach rooms which are air-conditioned (except for the bathroom). The setting is gorgeous, the food excellent, the service phenomenal! They go out of their way to take care of you. This is my favorite resort that we have stayed in! Just a warning some rooms do not have air-conditioning, be sure and ask when you book. The fall is a great time to go. It is their rainy season but that mainly means off and on showers. We had very little rain last week. The rates are lower this time of year! Kudos especially to Kurt, Hank and Felix at Scuba St. Lucia, Marilyn and all the servers at the restaurants and the wonderful housekeeping staff. The grounds keepers were constantly working to keep the resort in beautiful shape!
Beautiful for tourists but questionable for locals

The location of this hotel is beautiful. The bright colors and the picturesque backdrop burn on your retina, the jazz music played remains in your memory for a long time. ??A special highlight that will remain in my memory for a long time and in a positive way were the yoga classes with Chamu and Nelson, who both have a holistic approach to their teaching and deal intensively with the visitors of their course. In addition, both bring valuable theoretical knowledge about yoga. I can also highly recommend a massage by Chamu at the spa. Regarding the arrival, it should definitely be mentioned that a very long badly (or not at all) asphalted road leads to the hotel. This may be a minor inconvenience for hotel guests, but I can imagine that it has a lasting detrimental effect on the back health of long-time employees. ?The beach is officially open for external visitors, but due to the high prices of entrance fees, drinks, food and other infrastructure, it is hardly affordable for locals to visit their own beach. ??Furthermore, for Europeans, the strong American influence is particularly noticeable: The vegan food lacked quality and freshness, processed food has been served and on some evenings loud country music is played, which you can't even escape the rooms. ??
