Exceeded our already very high expectations - fabulous!

Quest777647 on Sep 04, 2024

We decided to return to Stolen Time for our 25th Wedding anniversary, having been there all those years ago for our honeymoon. We were slightly worried that our hopes were build from years of rose tinted memories of a fabulous trip previously, and that our expectations may be too high, but we could not have been more wrong! Arrival at the hotel was seamless and set the trend for the rest of the holiday - rather than focusing on the paperwork, were greeted with a cold glass of fizz and a short tour of the resort ending in our room, where our bags arrived at the same time. Paperwork was left for us to complete at our leisure as the clear focus was more on getting us settled, comfortable and relaxed. Over the next 10 days we enjoyed high quality food, excellent service, incredible facilities including a great beach. 2 pools and a lazy river to chose from. Drinks service was available wherever we landed, and the staff were always happy, friendly, and professional. If you are looking for a lively hotel with lots of noise and hype, this is definitely NOT the place to go. That is not to say there is nothing to do - if you are looking to have a bit of fun there are loads of activities, from yoga in the air conditioned studio overlooking the sea, golf clinics, archery lessons, beach volleyball and all the watersports you can imagine. But if you are looking to completely chill - immerse yourselves in each other and spending quality time in an amazing environment, I can not imaging anywhere better! Thank you to the Hotel and all their amazing staff for making our 25th anniversary something that we will never forget.

Trip of a lifetime

mumbray_2001 (Manchester) on Sep 04, 2024

We stayed for two weeks in June, and it was a fantastic stay. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was very good, especially in Thyme, and the aircon in there was a welcome relief during a very humid June! We were unfortunate that we stayed during hurricane Beryl, but the staff were absolutely fantastic, rushing round from room to room, getting us room service and checking in on us. The beach is beautiful. We’ve been to other Caribbean islands and hawkers were irritating, but I think we saw one the whole two weeks we were there. After the hurricane, the beach was a right mess, but it was cleaned up in a day. We took a trip with JoJo, a speedboat trip down to Soufrière, saw the pitons and mud baths, bit of snorkelling etc. we also hired a car and went to Hotel Chocolat and explored the island. It’s beautiful. Special shout out to Anita on the beach, she was coming and going on the beach bringing us drinks all day, most days. Cocktails are very good!

StolenTime is by every measure an extraordinary resort!

Valentina V on Aug 31, 2024

StolenTime is by every measure an extraordinary resort. We stayed at stolen time from 16Aug2024 to 26Aug2024. From the moment we arrived we felt not only welcomed but part of something truly special. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a champagne welcome. As we walked towards the main terrace, an enchanting enormous 150 year-old Saman tree loaded with a variety of tropical plants growing from it served as tree-of-life symbol of what we were to expect: a resort that is integrated with its community and cares about both its staff, guests, and also a few friendly cats that have found it to be a welcoming oasis. The accommodation we carefully chose was an ocean-front terrace room which had all typical expected amenities and fortunately no television. The variety of opportunities for romantic moments either listening to caressing sound of the Caribbean ocean during the day or the symphony of unique lullaby sounds from the myriad of the nearly invisible whistling frogs reminded us that we had been transported to fairy tale world. We found the staff to be gracious, welcoming, and open to unhindered conversations. We found that a significant number of the staff had been at the resort for over ten years and number had returned after engaging other opportunities: truly the mark of a resort that cares about its people. The meals at the Terrace, Thyme, and Malabar were delicious. We very much enjoyed the morning Cocoa Tea and West Indies night at the Terrace. Dining ocean front at the Malabar with our toes in the sand was a treat either for lunch or dinner. Without a doubt, one of the most exceptional experiences was the Farm to Table tour where we shopped with StolenTime Chef Kacy at Castries market in the morning, prepped with the Chef the St. Lucien meal in the afternoon, and then dined as it was being cooked exclusively in front of us at the beach front Malabar. We even had opportunity to eat produce grown fresh picked directly at StolenTime! We had gone to St. Lucia trying to educate ourselves as much as possible on the island, its rich history, and the culture of its people, what we discovered at StolenTime was so much more: a place where extraordinarily nature and warm kind-hearted people provided a rest for our souls. We highly recommend and will definitely return to StolenTime when the next opportunity presents itself.

The best resort ever!

Q3411BLhelenr (Rushden, United Kingdom) on Aug 30, 2024

This is a fantastic resort which aims to give every guest the best experience possible. We stayed in premium terrace rooms overlooking the incredible tropical gardens as well as having a sea view in the distance. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the terrace was huge - a great place to relax in the late afternoon sun. The food and service at this resort are incredible. We loved all the restaurants - Thyme, the Terrace and Malabar Beach Club. The choice was superb and everything cooked to perfection. All the waiting staff are lovely but especially Margarita, Mathilda and Nixon. Chefs Casey and Antonius are also amazing. The service on the beach and by any of the pools was incredibly attentive with friendly staff offering drinks, fruit, cold flannels etc. It was always service with a smile from Tasha (Nice!) and Michael at the pool bar. The champagne bar is a great place to hang out before dinner with Sharma encouraging everyone to mingle and relax over a fabulous glass of fizz. It's great that staff are always on evening duty to make sure that every guest is having a great time. The activities on offer every day are really varied and well worth taking part in. We loved doing aqua-fit every morning and also tried Caribbean dance, Pilates, fitness on the beach, cooking and mixology. We also had great fun playing pool volleyball and joined in the walks to the lighthouse (very steep but fantastic views) and to Castries Market. The fitness staff are great fun and really friendly - again, always there to make sure you have a great time. Huge shout-outs to Miquel, Sam, Teddy, Shaunte, Seth, and Joe who made our holiday so special and such great fun. The water-sports on offer are really varied. We kayaked to Rat Island, had fun with paddle-boards, snorkelled and went out on a catamaran. The water-sports guys are always friendly and helpful - Dean, Jeremiah and Charles enabled us to do masses of activities on the water. If you just want to relax and do nothing - that's fine too! That's the beauty of Stolentime. The site is huge with loads of places to hide out and chill, including the lazy river (although Tasha will always find you to make sure you have a drink!) The beach is huge and the water is crystal clear and great to swim in. The other thing we just loved about Stolentime was how kind the staff are to the resort cats and the stray dog on the beach (who was very endearing). We loved every moment of our time at Stolentime and can't wait to return.
