Had the best time at Blue Haven! Gillian took great care of us - made specialty drinks for us that were amazing. Thank you for making our time special!
Amazing service, beautiful beach

We just returned from a week at this all-inclusive resort, and it truly exceeded our expectations—largely because of the outstanding staff who made our stay unforgettable. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and personalized in a way that made us feel genuinely cared for. Shaneka set the tone for exceptional hospitality from the moment we arrived, and Angi at the front desk ensured every detail was handled smoothly throughout our stay. At breakfast, Lavaud and Jackson provided fantastic service each morning, and we always looked forward to starting our day with their friendly energy. Rodney made lunch service feel effortless and enjoyable, while Pedro, Cadet, and Ben elevated our beach experience with prompt, cheerful service—whether it was delivering drinks, arranging our seating, or checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We also want to recognize Albert, whose kindness and professionalism stood out during our stay. A special shoutout to Micah for an amazing kayak tour—fun, informative, and one of the highlights of our trip. And thank you to Darlene for helping with our fishing license; she made the process quick and easy so we could get straight to enjoying our time. One of the most impressive aspects of the resort was how every single request was accommodated quickly and without hesitation. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible, and their warmth is what truly differentiates this resort. A couple of suggestions: The menu at Fire & Ice felt limited, especially for guests staying a full week or longer. A rotating or expanded menu would make a big difference. Service at Salt was on the slower side during multiple visits. It would also be great to see more variety in the lunch options for guests who prefer to stay on-site rather than dine off the resort. Overall, though, the incredible staff made our vacation exceptional. Their dedication, hospitality, and genuine kindness turned a beautiful resort into an unforgettable experience. We are grateful for each of them and would happily return.
Thoroughly impressed by Blue Haven!!

We just returned from a wonderful week at Blue Haven with some family. In all there were nine of us (six adults, 3 kids ages 18months & 8 years old) staying in three rooms. This was our first time in Turks & Caicos and so obviously our first time at Blue Haven. ROOMS: Blue Haven is a small resort which ended up being perfect for having littles. Rooms and restaurants were easy to access for naps and snack time, making it incredibly convenient. Due to the size it was also quite easy to grab prime beach chairs without having to be up at the crack of dawn to claim them. The one bedroom suits are wonderfully sized for anybody traveling with kids. I didn't think I would use the washer and dryer but it came in super handy for drying wet clothes. Be aware that they do not provide laundry or dishwashing detergent so you'll need to bring your own if you want more than a rinse/dry. There was not paper towels or dish rags in the room which would have been handy but aren't a big deal. I honestly think the rooms here have spoiled future vacations for us. BEACH: The beach is not the softest sand you'll find (significantly better at Alexandra) but having little kids on the trip made us really appreciate the calm waters that the channel offers. The swimming area isn't huge compared to other resorts and the channel is relatively busy but it was more than sufficient. Our daughter loved the water trampoline and spent hours on it. There's actually really decent snorkeling along the piers too - especially the gazebo one but you need to be incredibly careful since boats/jetskis are coming in and out constantly. However, we really didn't even need to get wet to see some great stuff. From the gazebo we saw some emperor angelfish, barracuda, a sting ray, octopus and more. Because the beach is flanked by piers, you cannot get long beach walks here which is probably the only negative I can say. The HUGE plus to that is because it's private, you also don't have anybody asking you to buy something every 15 minutes like over at Alexandra. FOOD: Because it's small, there are not many restaurant options but the resort clearly tries to provide variety. On Monday there is a beach BBQ with DJ which was probably our favorite night. The food in general was pretty hit or miss to be honest. It ranged from mediocre to quite good - nothing was downright horrible. Salt was our least favorite restaurant for food. We went twice and would not have returned if our stay was longer. Fire & Ice was plenty good and service was great. We had a member of our party who unfortunately doesn't eat seafood so they became a bit bored of options by the end of the stay. DRINKS: We found a good variety of drinks at the bars on property with top shelf liquor being used and not the cheap generic stuff you find at other places. Grey Goose, ect. The bartenders frequently did heavy pours which we obviously loved. The only thing that was a little peculiar given the size of the resort was that the bars didn't seem to know the menus from the other ones. You'd ask for a Sand Dollar at Salt and they had no idea what you wanted because it was another bar that served that one. No a huge issue, just interesting. We loved the mojitos, pina coladas, sand dollar and pain killer. SERVICE: Wow! What a breath of fresh air. We've stayed a number of places in the Caribbean and at most of our recent ones we've felt like the people were mad we were there. Not at Blue Haven! There was the odd person here or there who wasn't super friendly but the vast majority of our interactions were great with service typically being quite prompt. I called for pull out bedding and they were there within 5 minutes. Food service was typically prompt and attentive. The main exception was Salt where one of our dinners took over an hour and half to get food and we didn't get drink refills for about an hour (and only after we got the servers attention to ask). It was a 530 reservation because we had littles and it wasn't super busy yet so that was really disappointing. The parents ended up leaving before their dinner arrived so they could go put the kids to bed and we saw other tables do the same. To name names, Shaneka - WOW! We just love her. She did pretty much everything within her power to ensure we had a fabulous time. Every afternoon she does a round on the beach to ask people how their stay is and if they need anything. She takes notes and makes things happen to ensure you're cared for. Do not hesitate to ask her if you need anything at all - she's a magician. Angi at the front desk was also wonderful - I loved when we walked in and she immediately knew we were there to get our bracelets adjusted before we even said anything. Rodney, Pedro, Lavaud, & Jackson all gave us great food/drink service - no matter if it was in a restaurant or on the beach. Darlene (not sure of the spelling, she was in the office of the marina) gave us wonderful and friendly service when we needed to get fishing licenses quickly because our captain forgot to tell us before he arrived to pick us up. My husband and I had a private beach dinner with Cadet as our server and he was just fabulous. So friendly, attentive and make the experience unforgettable. We spent one day at Alexandra and had Ben for beach service - he was incredible!! Finally, we had Micah for our mangrove tour and had such a blast. We really appreciated him squeezing us group in and happily showing us around. EXCURSIONS: We only did the mangrove tour through the resort but it was better than I ever expected. We saw dozens and dozens of sea turtles and they would occasionally surface very close to the kayak. We only saw one lemon shark but that's still pretty cool. We did the tour on our last full day and really regretted it because we probably would have taken kayaks over there ourselves more if we'd know how great it was. We did go fishing with a company my father-in-law found through a taxi drivers recommendation. It was not the most professional operation but we've got some stories and did catch size barracuda - probably the most we've ever caught on a fishing trip. PROS: Overall pros of the resort include the service, the quiet/small size, the rooms (at least if you're not in the studio), and the fact that nobody is bugging you on the beach (excursion sales or hair braiding). CONS: Food can be hit or miss, service was rarely poor but it still happened, and it would be nice if the beach were larger but they can't really do anything about that so it is what it is. SUGGESTIONS: Work on the food quality at Salt, consider adding more non-seafood items at all restaurants and don't every let Shaneka leave!!!

If you are looking for a place to take your spouse, friend, or family with friendly, accomodating staff, great food and drinks, very comfortable rooms and beds, plenty of activities, and a breathe taking view, this is your spot. This was the best place we have ever been and can't wait to come back.
Great place!
