Around the world, I have stayed at more luxurious hotels, and I have stayed at far more expensive hotels. But, I have never stayed at such a perfect hotel. From the instant you walk through the front doors, you feel the difference. The decor, the maintenance, the cleanliness, the professional and courteous nature of all staff, it was second to none in my global travels. The elevators, the pool area, the steam room - perfect. The quality of the bedding and towels - wonderful. The restaurant and its menu items - of very high quality. I could go on and on in detail about the maintenance and cleanliness. Nothing was in a state of disrepair. The location is also second to none. We stayed six nights, and have never been so satisfied in over 30 years of travelling.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Horizon. The room was spacious, clean, and had an amazing view. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. My favorite part was the location! We walked all over the city from the hotel. We could get to food, shopping, the waterfront, and so many other places on foot. The restaurant at the hotel had a fantastic breakfast menu. We ended up eating there twice! If we visit downtown Vancouver again, we would definitely stay at the Blue Horizon.

This hotel is a great place to stay, especially for enjoying Vancouver. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for getting around Vancouver, with much within walking distance. Every room has a balcony, and with only 8 rooms per floor, there is little hallway noise. The view was fantastic - across the city and out to English Bay. Instead of a business desk, the room has a loveseat seating area, a bar, refrigerator, and Nespresso maker. One thing this hotel has which is becoming rare - an actual door that shuts for the bathroom. Highly recommended for a place to relax while in Vancouver.

We stayed at the Blue Horizon Hotel for 9 days and had a really enjoyable experience. The location is a huge win—walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor entertainment, which made it easy to explore without needing a car. Our room was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping was very accommodating throughout our stay. We also ordered room service and were pleasantly surprised—it was quick and very good. The view from our room was amazing, and one of the unexpected highlights was watching the birds—it added a really peaceful touch to the stay. Noise was minimal, which is about as good as you can expect in a downtown setting. The parkade also felt safe and convenient, which mattered for peace of mind. Overall, a solid choice if you want a central location with comfort and great views.

Ideal location near family in west end. Love that every room is a corner suite with so much room. Ours was also newly renovated. Didn’t have time to use the pool/hot tub/weight room but appreciated the fact that there is a restaurant in the lobby where we had a lovely breakfast each morning.
