Stay somewhere else

Dirty and uncomfortable. I'm not sure how there are so many good reviews of this hotel. It's not a delta at all. We stay in all sorts of accommodations but this one is horrible. It's so expensive, it is a great location technically, but it's old, falling apart and the most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep in. No comforter, no proper sheets, even the pillows feel like they're made out of carpenter pants. The hardest bed that looks about 30 years old, and it's loud from the bar outside. The floors and walls are peeling up, the fridge didn't work, neither TV worked, I'm not sure why there was so little hot water, and yes the pool needs attention. The rooms are tiny too; no where to unpack your stuff or store anything bulky. Too much furniture and no space to lay down a suitcase. I can look past most of it but not the bed. Hotels, especially $400 hotels, are usually known for very comfortable sleeping arrangements. This was worse than tenting. Never thought I'd wish I brought an air mattress.

Great Hotel

Great hotel and located right in the village, easy access to shops and restaurants. We booked one-bedroom suite - the size is perfect with a mountain view. Love the washer and dryer. We had pleasant stay here. Recommended for a family trip!

Very noisy

Paula G (Watford, United Kingdom) on Jun 19, 2022

We are staying in room 1530 it is 3.30am and stillI cannot sleep because of noise from the nightclub below our window despite being on the 5th floor. We asked to be moved to a quieter room but they said they had no availability. Only here for 2 nights or would have moved to a different hotel. The room itself was good with a kitchenette and washer dryer which is why I gave 3 stars but if you want a sleep avoid as no guarantee which side of the hotel you will get.

Noisy but nice

Discover00096243171 (Biddenden, United Kingdom) on Jun 18, 2022

We had a first class suite with microwave fridge washing machine dryer toaster and coffee machine. Car parking available on site at extra cost Downside was our room was VERY noisy as opposite some sort of night club that stayed open until 2am. Reception said we should have asked for a room change as they have quiet rooms. This is worth knowing The pub downstairs is not part of the hotel but it did a good meal deal

Good hotel. Extremely expensive parking.

Stayed here for two nights while attending an event in Whistler. The property is located on the middle of the Village walk making it a great place to stay to explore town. Rooms are probably smaller than expected but they have everything you need to stay comfortable. Checkin and checkout were a breeze. Great common spaces. Unfortunately the pool and jacuzzi were being maintained so I couldn’t use them. Two items lower the rate for me. First of all, the hotel still maintains the policy enacted during Covid of no room cleaning unless requested. I am not sure how this became the “standard” but since most if not all Covid restrictions are gone, I believe this is being use as an excuse to cover for obvious labor shortages across the hospitality industry. The second one is the parking rate. I can understand why $40/day are charged in high season when parking is at premium. But in this shoulder season with the parkade used at 10%, with the high room rate paid per night, a lower rate or (why not) included parking would be my expectation. Fortunately, $10-15 day all day parking is available within walking distance.
