Very good overall

Suite 1606, 3 nights. The good: Room was very clean, very quiet, great views (city side). Valet parking attendant and hotel staff very friendly and courteous. Shower pressure and water temp very good. Pillows were better than expected. The bad: Bed sagged somewhat, although sleep in general was good. Toilet button needs to be replaced, it has play and needed to be jiggled from time to time. There is a building behind built next door, lots of noise permeating through in the day, despite that my suite was not facing it and on the 16th floor. Valet parking attendants were great, but perhaps because of setup of the hotel, self parking not an option, this was not good. Hotel lobby has a Starbucks, and it's own lobby chairs are few and feel like they are part of the Starbucks, basically...no lobby. And lastly, WiFi was very problematic after first night, kept dropping off, and my floor was lightly occupied, problem there. Overall a very nice place in the middle of downtown, will stay again in upcoming trips to visit clients.
Great stay

Received an upgrade to a very nice suite. Lots of room. Nice views. Other than the elevator being a little slow, no complaints! The room was nice and comfortable. Had a great breakfast included in our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. They also offered free luggage storage as our checkout time was well before our ferry left for Seattle. This allowed us to wander around town without being hindered by our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful Victoria Hotel

The 2-Queen bed room was spacious and was very clean upon arrival. There were many outlets to charge our devices. The refrigerator was a medium size and we were able to fit a lot of drinks. I was happy that valet service is charged once per night with no limit to in and out service. Breakfast buffet offered many different foods. The employees do offer other food not on the food tables and will cook it for you. I liked that the lobby connects directly to a Starbucks. Every employee that I interacted with was incredibly friendly and was willing to answer any question I had. Because I arrived around Christmas, there was no construction noise. The construction site is in the area between Burdett Ave and Humbolt St next to the hotel.
Hilton Honors Diamond Upgrades

This hotel was average. Great location for walking the downtown area. The gym is tiny. Breakfast is buffet and still included for Diamond members. The Starbucks is located right in lobby and they have a great fireplace to just sit and have your coffee. The one thing i disliked as a Hilton Diamond member was the way the representative handled complimentary upgrade requests. When I inquired about if there were any upgrades available he4 stated "the only rooms I have available are much more expensive then upgrades so I cant give them to you." This was a little off putting and felt grimy. Especially when compared to the Hilton in Quebec who upgraded us to the presidential suite. I'm just imagining a non Honors member standing behind us and the difference between his response and yes. We don't typically upgrade to this room, but I am able to due to your Diamond status. Seems like a no brainer recruitment win to me. But other than that, no complaints.
