Perfect for a family stay

SFJ123 (Campbell River, Canada) on Jul 24, 2021

If you are a family minding your budget while ejoying Victoria then the Royal Scot Hotel and Suites is perfect. Many of the sights we wanted to see were in walking distance (and we had a healthy senior and a 7yr old in our group). We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was clean. We used the sofa bed as well as the main bed. The sofa bed did not have the annoying cross bar that so many do. The full kitchen allowed us to have our own meals and snacks as we wanted (we did also enjoy a few good meals out). The kitchen could have used a few additional utensils (wooden spoon in particular) but we were able to make due. I'm sure the staff would have accomodated us if we had asked as they were very pleasant and helpful. Our daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Both are old but were clean. We will return.

Affordable and Well Located Hotel

Stephen D (Vancouver, Canada) on Jul 19, 2021

We loved the location of this hotel easy access to the cycling routes, walking distance to downtown Victoria. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room while dated was very clean and the beds comfortable even the sofa bed. We will stay here again on our next trip to Victoria.

Great location and excellent hotel

r0man53 (Bridport, United Kingdom) on Jul 19, 2021

We stayed 4 nights at the Royal Scot hotel. It is close to all attractions in Victoria and all are within easy walking distances. Parking in hotel grounds is plentiful. The staff were welcoming, cheerful, professional and very helpful. The hotel was clean, smart and light. Our room was large, bright with a balcony and large amount of storage space. The bed was huge and very comfortable with good pillows. There were good blackout curtains. There was a small refrigerator which was very useful and there was a good coffee machine. There was a large TV with wide choice of stations. The bathroom was large, very clean and had a powerful over-bath shower with good choice of shampoo, conditioner etc. The room was quiet and we slept very well. This is a really good hotel and we loved our stay - by far the best we have stayed in in Victoria and we will return.

Like visiting gr'ma's house! Perfect!

norma m on Mar 13, 2021

Comfy, welcoming older style lg. suites; just like the house I grew up in....or, like visiting a loving gr'ma's!! Well-maintained. All the amenities and more for what we needed for our month-long stay and if we didn't find it in our suite, the front desk was more than willing to help out. And right-to-our-door delivery if necessary. As for the pool and small but well equipped gym....well, what can we say. Just right. Unbelievable products in the Gift Shop! Enjoy coffee on your balcony Hotel is in great central location with lg community grocery store a block away, kids playground, quiet walking neighborhood, harbour-front around the corner. Can't go wrong staying here. And...no fuss, no muss parking for your vehicle! Our 3rd or 4th stay here
