We spent a month in a one bedroom suite at this very central, modern and clean hotel. The staff (Valentine, Earl, Ravenna and Autumn) were always helpful and very welcoming- they truly made it feel like a home away from home as we discovered the delightful James Bay neighbourhood and visited family snd friends. The hotel is within easy walking distance from downtown- there are also two bus stops within 100 metres from the hotel (we downloaded the UMO app for Victoria buses- we found it easy to use and wish we had it in Ottawa!). We made frequent use of the hotel’s gym (small but with a nice view of the garden and all of the needed equipment etc). There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel in addition to the one in the hotel proper. Noise was never and issue and we found the area (roads included) to be quiet at this time of year. Our suite’s kitchen provided the basic necessities (pots, pans etc) and staff provided us with additional utensils and glasses upon request. We will return to the hotel during our next visit to Victoria (to escape the cold Ottawa winters!).

Needed a night away . Lots of personal and health challenges lately . I have stayed before and recommended to family as well and they loved it as well . Small , charming , warm and so friendly . I appreciate the staff at the front desk and also how friendly the other staff are as well when you run into them in the hallway . Location is perfect .!

Sweet lil treat buried in the heart of Victoria. Perfect if you want a kitchen because taking your toddlers out to eat every meal would be super annoying since they just want to eat cereal anyway. We didn't utilize the restaurant or the spa because again the small children meant we were in bed by 8. The pull out bed was pretty comfortable. The TV had roku and made it easy to stream k pop demon hunters on repeat for our four year old. The walkability of this hotel was awesome. no busy traffic. 10/10 would return. Good value. Super clean. Quiet. Weird vending machine on P2.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Victoria! The location is excellent, set away from the inner harbor on a quiet street but easy to walk into. The check in was quick and the staff were all kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, nice soft robes for lounging in. We enjoyed spending time in the lobby where there are lots of seating options, board games and books. Feels warm and homey. Will definitely be coming back to stay at the Oswego!

Comfortable, well appointed room with great facilities. Earl and Reveena at reception were so friendly and helpful. Our stay was excellent and the location is so central.
